Countryman came straight out, when after removing the tiles around a window we found a gap that they had not been able to fill during the original installation. I thought the overall service and value for money from Countryman was excellent. Our new windows are the best investment we've made in our flat and they make the living environment so much more pleasurable. I would highly recommend Countryman to anyone looking for a reputable, local, family run company to carry out these sorts of works. In an industry that doesn't necessarily have the best reputation for quality service and value, Countryman is a real gem. My only criticism is that the installers could have taken a bit more care when removing the old windows. If they had simply scored around the beading with a Stanley blade before removing it, I'm sure it would have come away cleaner and not caused as much damage to the existing paintwork on the window boxes. This would have made the job of redecorating much easier for me. They also dropped a few bits of wood down into our neighbour's garden which they never bothered to clear up and so I had to go down there myself after they were gone. Aside from that, the installers were really good and the windows now look perfect. Thanks very much to Anthony and the whole team.
