Installation of an RSJ beam between two rooms to support the wall above.
Lee and his team were punctual, efficient and kept mess to a minimum. Very likeable chaps who offered advice on other aspects of decor that we were thinking of. The plastering and making good the area ready for decorating was of a very high standard. We would not hesitate to recommend Covo Homes Limited to anybody and would use them ourselves again for any other building work.

Extension.
Lee and his team did a great job building our extension. Working to tight timescales they kept to budget and delivered on time. Really pleased with the extension! They were very good at dealing with building control ensuring we got a quick sign off.

Rebuilding of double bay window, building of external wall and renovation of back garden.
I was very satisfied with the work done by Covo Homes Limited. The owner Lee provided me with a very detailed quote at the outset and I felt that he went the extra mile to understand my requirements and to accommodate them. The work which was undertaken was quite extensive and involved a variety of trades (i. E. Bricklaying, plastering, attaching external mouldings, tiling and fencing). I have used many tradesmen in Portsmouth and also in the London area and I can honestly say that the quality of the workmanship was exceptional and without fault. We were living in the home at the time and therefore the fact that Lee and the rest of the team were courteous and easy to get on with was also important. I also felt that the price paid was very fair given that this is a full service building firm. I did not pay significantly more than I would have done if I had sourced individual tradesmen for each specific job, however I felt that this process was far less stressful and the workmanship was of a higher standard. I would recommend Covo Homes to anyone who needs building work and I will be using them again.

Loft Conversion
Lee and his team provided an excellent, friendly, honest and professional service with nothing being too much trouble. Lee closely monitors the projects himself to ensure everything is being carried out as it should. We would definitely use them again as well as recommending them to anyone and indeed have. Lee and his team were always courteous and concerned that we were happy at all stages of the project and any queries we had were dealt with promptly and to a satisfactory conclusion. He was also excellent at coming up some good ideas and alternatives for us to think about which in some instances actually saved us some money. There was always good and pleasant communication with the whole team and everyone on site treated my home with the utmost respect I felt confident leaving them there alone and at the end of every day the house was left clean and tidy. Great job completed ahead of schedule......thank you!

Loft Conversion
I had a loft conversion completed by lee and his team which was delighted with the final product. It was fully explained to me what would happen at each stage and to their word it was very precise. Lee's team were always courteous and helful and with a smile. The build quality is excellent and I would have no qualms in recommended them, indeed I already have.

Loft conversion
The final cost was greater than the estimate given for the work as unforseen additional structural improvements were required in addition to the structural engineers initial calculations, which were not attributal to Lee. The work carried out and also the additional work that I requested was of a high standard. Having had no previous experience requesting building work, the major reason I chose Lee form 4 other acquired estimates, was the thoroughness in surveying the work required on his initial survey, and the itemising of the materials required on the estimate.
