We contacted Steve Cornish of Cristal 2 years ago for a quote for replacement windows and doors. At that time, we were unable to proceed with the work, but Cristal did not hassle us. This year we were able to go ahead with the work and Cristal came out to us once more and the quote was still reasonable. We believe that Cristal offer a professional, customer focused service that is lacking in some of the bigger companies. We have been pleased with the results of the new windows and doors and the quality of the hardware and installation is very good. The fitters turned up on time every day and were quiet and conscientious. They were always polite and well-mannered and kept us up to date with the progress. The work was completed on time and the snagging has been addressed very promptly. We would recommend Cristal to anyone who is considering this type of work and to support the smaller trades people.

Stress free enquiry with Steve popping round to show us examples and provide a quote. No talking rubbish or hard sale, just good honest knowledge and felt he had our best interests at heart. Brilliant communication afterwards, the actual work was done with minimal fuss and mess but lots of hard graft in pretty bad weather with no complaints. Installation is to a very high standard, very happy to recommend Cristal to friends and family. Great to see a family business run so efficiently who puts the customer first and I wish them every success.

Firstly the price was extremely competitive with other local quotes. The quality and workmanship was excellent. Both fitters were reliable and carried out the job efficiently and expertly. We are an almshouse with 16 flats so our budgets are very tight. We would certainly recommend and get them back for more quotes.

Competitively priced for an excellent quality and finish- we actually saved over a thousand pounds compared with our first quotes. Cristal had previously fitted an upstairs window for me two years ago. I was very impressed then, and I'm equally impressed this time round. The fitters were punctual, courteous, cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, and the quality of the work was excellent. Cristal are also outstanding value for money, too - best prices quoted by a mile. If I had any more windows to replace, Cristal would definitely get the job.

I'm absolutely delighted with our final results - Steve, Craig and Jimmy made such a fantastic job on my new windows, doors and porch. It looks like a completely different house! I keep taking photos and sending them to all my friends and family. In fact only yesterday we had a visit from a neighbour whose wife was really impressed, he came in to see what damage had been made around the windows after installation and was gob smacked that there were NONE!! From the outset Steve was professional, approachable, friendly and nothing was too much hassle, he responded to all my questions in a timely manner and the paperwork, plans and proposals were always easy to understand and formatted well. His quote was fair and his suggestions/ recommendations on style, costs etc was greatly appreciated. At no point did we feel we were being 'sold' to, Steve supplied advice and assistance which helped us to decide on the windows, etc. Craig and Jimmy were always on time, if not early on some occasions which was great, they were extremely tidy, polite and hard working and have made a fabulous job of everything, I couldn't believe there was NOTHING for me to do when I got home each evening, no cleaning, tidying up - nothing! They were immaculate - and the finish on the windows, doors and porch was perfect! I can't thank you all enough - it was worth every penny and I will be happy to recommend Cristal to anyone who needs new windows, the competitors should be worried - as I've heard such horror stories from people about window fitters and I was a tad nervous, but you did not disappoint and the work was outstanding! PS - Thank you for getting the ponytail knocker for us - it's perfect! Thank you all again! My neighbour said today - "it looks tons better than before, its fantastic!!" A very very happy customer!

Steve was extremely helpful and down to earth during the quotation phase. His advice was good and well balanced. There was also no hard sell. The work was done quickly and diligently with the lads clearing up after themselves. Steve popped by to check on the results as he was in the area and showed me how to use the easy clean system etc. All in all customer service was second to none. There were a couple of teething problems which were fixed quickly and efficiently and I've received all the paperwork I had expected. I've already recommended this company to family and friends as I was really impressed with their dedication and willingness to go out of their way for you. If I needed anything else done they would be my first port of call.
