We had a real problem with the old boiler in a flat owned by my daughter who lives abroad and lets the property out. The tenant was anxious that the boiler work should be done while he was away so Mick agreed , with only a few days notice, and worked the weekend to sort the problem out. He did a brilliant job, everything up and running,  tidy and ship-shape by the time the tenant returned on the Monday. Thank you Mick - job well done.

What Mick doesn't know about plumbing is probably not worth knowing!!  Nice guy..works with son..family business. We now have a superb new system..loads of hot water and hopefully reduced gas bills.  Mick had lots of stuff to sort out along the way as part of our hall way refurbishment project and is coming back to do some tiling work and moving some additional pipe work for us. STRONGLY recommended!!!

For over a year we have contacted numerous plumbers to ensure that our shower worked to it's full potential (did not go cold if our neighbour used water!). Each plumber suggested ideas but would not guarantee that it would solve our problem. We contacted Mick and he immediately diagnosed the problem, and guaranteed it would work. The cost was extremely reasonable, and the time scale was well within our expectations. The work was first class, however, completely unrelated to his work a part of the shower broke- Mick spent well over a week chasing the company for a part (that he managed to get for free) and gave up part of his weekend and evenings to install this and refused to charge us. Mick is the ultimate plumber- he cares about the equipment, he cares about the job, he cares about the reputation of all plumbers and he cares about the customer. I could not recommend him more- absolutely first class.

I phone Mick on the Friday night about us having had no hot water or heating for the last week and he managed to rearrange things for the Saturday in order for them to come in and do the whole job for us the next day.  We really appreciated this having a young family to keep warm in a house that was by now a little colder inside than out! They worked all day to get the job done and when they left everything was back in place, the heating was on and we were running a hot bath.  We cannot recommend CTM Plumbing and Heating highly enough. We really trusted them to do a great job for us and will definitely be calling them again in the future for an extension we are planning.

Our boiler gave up 2 weeks before Christmas and with a child under 2 years old we were desperate to ensure we had heating and hot water as soon as possible.  We got another supplier to quote thinking that with a small child we would be a priority - big mistake - they told us they couldn't come until 22nd December at the earliest. They quoted us £4k for a pretty basic boiler too.  A colleague at work recommended Mick as he'd just done some work on her place and she said he'd not only done a good job but his quote was reasonable too. He came and quoted on the 12th December (which came in at £1500 less than this other company - for a much better boiler) and said he could fit it on 17th December (only reason for the delay was he had to finish a job off that he'd already started).  Mick has a really good manner which puts his customers at ease, and I felt confident enough to leave him with the keys to my house, which is a first for me! He was very tidy, and true to his promise, we had heating and hot water by the end of that day.  He came back in the next day to tidy up and do some final checks on the system and was done by lunch time. We couldn't thank him enough for getting us out of such a tight spot, if it had just been me and my husband we'd have soldiered on through winter and looked at getting the boiler sorted in January but with our daughter to consider, we needed a solution and fast!  We would be happy to recommend Mick to all our friends and family, and will certainly be using him again when we hopefully move house this year.

Until contacting Mick Brown I had used the same boiler company for 20 years. Big mistake. For the first time in many years I have now got Hot and I mean Hot radiators and a boiler that doesn't sound as if it is about to take off into space. The only down side is that we have lost our early morning alarm call when the heating kicks in !!!!!!!! I have no hesitation in recommending CTM Plumbing and Heating to anyone.

Michael Brown had to reinstate work that was causing leakage from a shower unit installed badly by another plumber.  The work entailed the complete re-tiling of two walls of the shower room and the removal and installation of the shower tray and screen. Job completed in three days.  We have used CTM before and would not approach another plumber for work if we had a choice. Excellent work. Prompt and quick.  Top notch craftsman. Can't praise highly enough.
