I have been decorating for 30+ years in and around Southampton & Bournemouth.  My main work is interior & exterior painting & decorating including wallpapering.  I also do coving and tiling along with other maintenance work, and if needed I can call on a reliable team of other trades.

I have built up a good reputation with my customers over the years based on good prices, passing on material discounts, getting the job done from start to finish as efficiently as possible, giving a professional & competitive result without the use of one coat paints.  I like to keep my customers happy throughout and leave them with a result to suit.

Very efficient, reliable work. Used for many years now. Outside woodwork done recently to high standard, also lounge and kitchen completed 2 years ago. Thoroughly recommended. Interior painting maisonette walls and woodwork.

Lovely job! DBS painted the walls and glossed the woodwork throughout my maisonette and touched in the paint on the ceilings where it was needed. Digby is a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Wallpapering, painting ceiling, crack and coving repairs.

Redecoration of lounge and hall, stairs and landing.

Repair of walls, ceilings and painting of walls, ceiling, wood work throughout house. Clean, fast, courteous. Returned to fix small nicks after 2 weeks, excellent and friendly service.

Renovation of four bedrooms.

All four of the bedrooms look wonderful now! Digby and his assistant had to work alongside other trades which got in their way but they did it without complaint and completed the task, sometimes having to touch up bits round the electrician's work several times. They always left the rooms very clean and tidy and often cleaned up the mess left by other trades. I would recommend DBS Painting and Decorating to anyone without hesitation!

Complete renovation of office and kitchen including coving.

The standard of work was excellent and he was very helpful in recommending tradesmen to help with other jobs as we were new to the area. Very pleased with his work and also with his recommendations. He also had some tips which saved us money. Digby is a very kind and friendly man who worked round us and made the renovations a pleasure.

External decoration of the complete house.

We are absolutely delighted with the look of our house! Digby helped us choose the colour and made recommendations from his experience which have certainly paid off. He coped with the difficult sides of the house using ladders in various ingenious ways to save us the cost of scaffolding and made no fuss when it was tricky.

Painted front room, including new cupboards, woodwork, shelves and ceiling.

Digby was meticulous in the preparation work (a lot of which was needed on both our walls and woodwork) and did a very good job. He was also able to quote quickly and squeeze us into his work programme - which was important since we're on a countdown to the arrival of our first child.
