We have done various work for the customer over the past years and have a good relationship with her. Upon the request for the periodic test and inspection the customer unfortunately did not inform us she had a time frame in mind and certainly didn't suggest moving down to Cornwall so soon. As soon as she indicated her immanent time frame we accommodated her as best as possible. As for taking one week rather than the allocated two, we always book a job for longer than we anticipate so as to allow either for problems with the job or extra work that is often requested, that way we are able to finish the job without affecting the next booking or having to leave the job incomplete and return after to finish. That particular job was also allocated extra man power to move it on quickly for the clients decorator to start as soon as possible - as the customer requested. I think the other scores the customer gave us tell the overall picture and we wish the customer and her mum well down in Cornwall.
