Darren has undertaken plastering works for me on several occasions over the last year as part of an ongoing house refurbishment and as before his work has been truly outstanding. Darren is very skilled at his trade and demonstrates skill and competence over and above other plasterers that I have experienced. His knowledge on the correct procedures on preparation and application of the various types of plaster, render etc, is to be commended and he certainly takes pride in his work. Can't fault any aspect and would certainly recommend.

Darren turns up on time, is very conscientious, his work is of exceptional quality and precision, the overall effect is fantastic even after painting. Darren is a very polite clean first class plasterer and takes much pride in his work. I never knew Darren before I found him on this site after being let down by previous plasterers who either didn't turn up to price or did and were well over priced. My decorator commented in the quality of finish to Darren's work and has told me he would certainly recommend him to his customers.

A great job done. This is the fourth time we have used Darren. He has previously skimmed the hall, stairs and landing, kitchen ceiling and kitchen walls. Each time we have been very pleased with the finish and he has always tidied up well after the job. Darren is very courteous and reliable and even took good care not to wake the baby. Other tradesman who have done work fitting the kitchen and bathroom also commented on the high standard of Darren's work. Would definitely recommend him.

Darren was recommended by a neighbour. He plastered one room (walls and ceiling) and in another room skimmed one wall and repaired plasterwork where skirting boards had been removed. Darren did this for us too! Darren was friendly and tidy throughout and we are delighted with the quality of the work he has done. He was very flexible in picking up additional pieces of work (e.G removing skirtings and electrical sockets) and he's not a bad singer either! Would not hesitate to use him again and would recommend to anyone.

Based on his excellent feedback on checkatrade, I got a quote from Darren for re-plastering/skimming all rooms in a 3br house. Darren's pricing was very competitive and he explained the work required and answered all of my questions so well that I gave him the job. The work done included stripping out old wallpaper, preparing and skimming walls and ceiling in 4 rooms and hallway/landing, including putting up new plasterboard on ceiling in 3 rooms and the hallway/landing. Darren's work has all been very professional and to a very high standard and he has been very helpful, courteous and informative all the way through. I have also found Darren to be reliable and trustworthy and would not hesitate to recommend him to others (already have him lined up for more work for me).

This is the second time Darren has done work on my house and again I was impressed with his work. He even sorted out the hole in the landing that an electrician had accident knocked through at no extra cost. I work shifts and Darren is so reliable that I can confidently leave a key with him. After contacting a number of the workmen (highly rated here) for quotes on skimming/renewing ceilings in our new flat we decided to go with Darren. He answered our query immediately (lots of others didn't get back or seemed slightly ambivalent) and went out of his way to come in the evening (when it suited us) to see our property to properly assess the work needing done. He provided a very reasonable quote and was really accommodating in terms of days and times. Our flat is in the attic and therefore the ceilings are slightly awkward in that they slope and curve but Darren made a really lovely job of them. In addition to being extremely punctual, Darren was a super considerate, honest and all round pleasant guy. Hence the reason we had him back 3 times! He also likes to sing (quietly) whilst he works, always a good sign! We would highly recommend him.

I contacted Darren and arranged for him to come and give me a quote. He arrived on time and discussed with me what exactly I wanted doing. He sent me a quote with the price and informed me about how many days the work would take. Darren's work was as clean as you can get with plastering and he left the house in a tidy state. The work took three days and I have been impressed with what he has done. I have asked him to quote for more work and will be using his service when my back bedroom is ready to be plastered. If you are looking for a plasterer who is polite and works hard then look no further.

Darren is excellent and I would definitely use him again. His workmanship is fantastic. At every instance from quoting to doing the work he was punctual and followed through with his promises. He helpfully identified some small additional areas for improvement (e.G. Changing downpipes) which did not cost a lot more but would make the overall appearance of the house look better - he did not try and "sell" these ideas, but we took him up on them. He is a very amiable guy as well, and left everything immaculately clean and tidy.
