I was quoted a price per hour. The electrician was on the job for five minutes into the second hour and I was charged for the full second hour. However after calling, the invoice was reduced.

In response to the customers feedback above. We were approached by the customer to carry out works for which we supplied a hourly rate and this was agreed witht he customer. Our operative carried out the works which ran in to the second hour. As a matter of courtesy when questioned by the customer we adjusted the invoice without hesitation. We can only go by the information submitted by the engineer carrying out the works, unfortunately we do not charge part hours. We carry on the vehicles, a comprehensive and varied stock, this cuts down on costs for clients, as we do not need to visit wholesalers. We also do not apply a call out charge.

Icalled with an emergency, a hot tao that wouldn't turn off. Although it was a Friday afternoon they came within an hour of my call. Jamie isolated the tap then on Tuesday ourchased a temporary tao and he came back and fitted it and his is awaiting a call when I receive the replacement to return and fix.
