Hi there I am David Mortimer Director of DJM Flooring, I formed the company about 8 years ago after working in 3 high end shops in the Surrey area, in all I've been in the flooring trade for 16 years mainly specialising in Carpets, Vinyl, Safety Flooring, Amtico, Karndean, Sea Grass, Wood, Laminate Flooring, Ceramic and Stone Tiles.

I joined checkatrade to expand my customer base and provide a complete flooring service.

Supplied and fitted carpet throughout downstairs and to master bedroom.

A thoroughly professional job from start to finish! The whole process of quoting was handled much more promptly and professionally than other companies asked to quote for the same job plus the final cost agreed was competitive, plus the cost finally agreed was very competitive. Dave gave me a great deal of help selecting the carpets to be fitted and I am delighted with the choices I made. In the end I went for high quality options and was absolutely delighted with the standard of workmanship employed. The area he had to carpet was very large but had some difficult doorways, corners and stairways. He managed to lay the carpet in one piece which meant that unlike my previous carpet there was no need for joins. Dave came back a few days later to check every part of the work and to perfect anything that he felt wasn't 100%. I spent a lot of money of the carpets and was slightly nervous that things might not go perfectly. In the event, I could not be happier with the results. The carpets look fantastic and I had a top flight professional service from start to finish!

Partially sanded, cleaned and oiled entire ground floor solid oak floors.

Excellent pair of guys! Really polite and clean and were even kind enough to help me move furniture from one room to the other to empty the room for them to work in.

Karndean flooring in 4 rooms.

Would really recommend Dave! He was polite, pleasant, reliable and friendly throughout the job, working around two children, decorators and a handyman at times, no mean feat! We have already asked him to come back and do some more work for us, and wouldn't hesitate to pass on his details to friends and family. A very good job at a good price!
