I phoned David Turner to ask about some things to do with the roof that had come up during our survey for a property we are buying. He was very honest about the fact that in his opinion most likely nothing needed doing but agreed to look at the property anyway, which he did, and reported back on very quickly. I would definitely trust him to do work for us in the future.

Even repaired my front path with left over cement and hoovered my landing and stairs when roof rebris vcame through loft hatch. Dave was very thorough in his examination of the problem. I found him to be completely honest and he gave a fair assessment of what needed to be done. It was very evident that Dave would only quote for essential work needed and he also fixed my leaky gutter in a matter of seconds! He also inspected the surrounding roof area while he was on site and advised of some general wear and tear repairs that may need addressing in the future due to the age of the property. I had been searching for a roofer for 9 months when I saw Dave drive past in his van. On the off-chance I phoned him and he was around in no time. Explained the problems with my roof. He did a preliminary check and even took photos on his iPhone to explain what would be needed to be done. I accepted his quote, not even bothering to get any others for comparison. His knowledge of modern roofing regulations is excellent. We discussed how he was going to access the roof. To which he said he could do it with ladders but for safety reasons I was not happy with that and said if we use scaffolding I would like the back wall re-pointed. Without a moments hesitation he said he could do that. He sorted out the scaffolding. And everything worked like clockwork once he could fit my job into his tight work schedule. He maybe a one-man-band but does the work of 10. He has renewed my faith in the British worker. A real find and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Dave responded quickly, identified two potential sources of the leak and immediately put 'patches' in places. Dave was courteous, explained the options clearly and his work was effective and tidy. I'm pleased to say that he's going to provide a quote for a slightly bigger bit of remedial work on a lead valley, for later in the Summer.

Dave came to give me a quote for a small hole in the roof of the house and reassured me that there was nothing to worry about and that he would prefer to leave it as it is as there is no water leaking in and the tear in the insulation was tiny, therefore not in need of repair. Dave then fixed up a couple of tiles on the side of the house in a couple of minutes. He then checked out the state of the flat roof of my garage and gave me a very reasonable quote to fix it up rather than replace the whole thing. I look forward to him coming to fix up the roof of my garage. I have found Dave to be very courteous, friendly and professional.

Had a new roof put on by a cowboy that leaked everywhere. After many inspections, with various roofers, I chose Dave to carry out the remedial work. The majority of tiles had to be replaced, due to the previous cowboys men walking on them and breaking them. All the ridges had to be replaced too, as well as the valley and leadwork, due to insufficient width of lead. Dave did a neat job at a great price, and is aware, and uses, all the latest techniques. Highly recommend.

After recent freezing temperatures and snow our flat roof had a small leak. Dave came round when he promised and admitted it was not an easy leak to diagnose - however, recommended a course of action and arranged to do the repair in a couple of days. When he returned he inspected again as he wasn't sure his original advice was correct. He tried a simpler, and cheaper, solution and promised to be back straightaway if the roof continued to leak. All he would take was a minimal charge. His simpler fix has worked. I would have no hesitation in advising anyone to use Dave.

Dave was one of 4 roofing contractors to provide a diagnosis, each with very varying estimates. Instead of a fancy typed estimate, he told me immediately it was a straightforward repair and estimated a quarter of what other repairers quoted. I really felt he went the extra mile to provide a first rate repair and service. When the job was finished he even reduced the price as it turned out not to take as long as he had expected! I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends.

Found cause of leak quickly and resolved easily. Fixed air vents to roof to reduce condensation on velux windows (been a few weeks and all good - no more leaks). It was difficult to quote for the job until investigations were carried out as to cause of leaks but was reasonably priced for the work done. Would definately recommend.

Dave resurfaced the flat roof of our garage over a two day period. He removed the existing stones and moss and took away to the dump and then primed the existing roof covering with bitumen primer. The next day he overlayed the roof with Anderson high performance blue gray torch on felt and cut to fit around 2 skylights. The job was completed on time and the rubbish was taken away off site. The price of the job was as quoted and Dave was polite and courteous at all times. He couldn't come on the day orginally booked but emailed me in advance to let me know of the rescheduled date so he was very easy to communicate with via email. Many thanks again for a job well done.

I contacted David very late in the evening on discovery of a badly leaking flat roof. He was absolutely fine with this and stated he would attend the following day. He arrived at 8am. He quickly established the problem and discussed options for repair. He then carried out some temporary repairs to prevent the problem getting worse. He measured up for a quote on the work needed. Unfortunately he is busy up to mid Feb but as long as the roof gets no worse I am more than happy to wait. He is a genuine guy with some old fashioned morals.

Work very well executed, though insisted on greatly redefining the job-spec' before work started. Even put our terrestrial TV-aerial back on our chimney stack without being asked; and used spare concrete-mix on our front patio! Could have had more warning about the noise his cutter made, but it wasn't for a long period, only early in the morning! Difficult to properly analyse quality of work done due to nature of leak; but Mr. Turner has given firm assurance that he will return promptly (with notice) to reassess site.
