We had a new carpet installed on the stairs, landing and bedrooms. The work was done to a very high standard and Dave is very reliable. This is the second time we have used Dave to install carpets, and would use his services again in the future.

Dave has been fantastic throughout – from the first visit to measure up, the speed of getting us a quote, arranging a time to fit and completing the actual job. The whole experience for us has been smooth and simple and the end result is amazing! The quality and efficiency of the work has been superb. Dave was accompanied by his son George on this actually fitting. Both worked extremely hard throughout the day to ensure they completed the job in the time. Dave also offered to re-carpet the bathroom with left over carpet. He did this free of charge. Very unexpected and a real bonus as now the whole place looks great.

Dave did a fantastic job with excellent time keeping on all occasions having to come to the house several times to choose the carpet as the 1st one had been discontinued, but Dave gave good advice bearing in mind the amount of people living in the house and how hard wearing the carpet needed to be whilst keeping to a budget etc. Many thanks and would definately use him again and recommend him.

Highly recommended! Dave came round with samples so we could choose our carpets. He gave us good advice on the type, quality and colours that would suit our house and lifestyle and even gave us a discount when the high quality carpet we chose ended up over our budget. When our builder was poorly and couldn't get the building work in the bedrooms completed on schedule and we had to push the fitting day back a week at short notice, Dave squeezed our job in even though I know he was very busy. Thoroughly pleasant chap, honest and reliable. He sourced our chosen carpets within a few days and fitted it perfectly.

Dave came around with some samples after I'd given him a brief and after seeing the room helped me to decide on two possibilities. He then showed me how to order samples so I could make final decision/ choose colour for walls. Once I was ready, we arranged a date, and my wonderful new carpet etc were laid. Dave made the whole process of getting our new carpet quick, easy and stress-free from start to finish. He visited our house with samples and was very efficient at helping us select the carpet we wanted and measuring the house for our quote, saving us a huge amount of time and we were happy that the quote was very affordable. He was flexible to our needs, as our decorating overran so he helpfully staggered the fitting over two days instead of one at only a few days notice. When fitting the carpet, Dave went the extra mile to help us out with our problem wood floor we would be laying the carpet on and was extremely friendly and professional. The carpet is fitted perfectly and we're incredibly pleased with it, it really has been the finishing touch to our new home! We fully recommend him and his service. Thanks again Dave!

Dave did a fabulous job. He came along to do the quote when he said he would and gave me the quote really quickly. A date was set for the fitting of the carpet, which he kept to. His work is of a very high standard, he works hard and is a pleasure to have in the house. The stairway carpet required to be whipped and stair rods needed to be refixed. He did all of this within the hours originally mentioned when quoting. The carpet has been much admired by friends and have asked for his details. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We made an appointment with David to go through his carpet selection to get a comparison against carpet-right; David's selection was the same or better and more affordable. We also got to choose our own underlay. David is extremely professional in his work and made sure to keep my wife and I informed throughout the carpeting of our flat. We knew and understood what he was going to do and when, which helped with the moving around of the furniture. I can't recommend David Wilson highly enough. He is straightforward, no nonsense and gets on with the job. He turns up when he says he will, grafts from the minute he's through the door and charges exactly as per his quotation. Can't say fairer than that. He is good company while he is working and can be left to get on with things. Because he is such a reliable craftsman he does get booked up but he is definitely worth waiting for.

David gave us an excellent no obligation quote (which was far more reasonable than the big name carpet companies - no names mentioned) and showed us the different types of carpet within our budget. Once we had chosen a carpet David told us when it would be available for fitting and we only had to wait a few days before it was ready. Our entire house was fitted within 2 days and we were and still are absolutely thrilled at the tidy job David carried out. Our carpet looks wonderful, and we have had so many compliments. David was extremely trustworthy and did what he said he would, when he said he would. We could not be happier with our carpet and are more than happy to recommend him to anyone.

David did a brilliant job on my stairs and landing. He offered a valuable advice to start with when it came to choosing a colour and a type of carpet (wasn’t pushing a sale but actually listened to what I want and commented on how practical my own choices my turn out to be?). The finished product looks outstanding. He was quick and reliable. I also ended up with a few unexpected ‘upgrades’, with no additional costs. I would highly recommend him. His price was very competitive in comparison to a high street retailer. Ultimately, I feel he would offer a good deal for any type of budget.

David has done a fantastic job fitting new carpet in my stairs and landing. I was on a very tight budget and he was excellent at explaining costs and getting me a really good price which he kept to. His speed and efficiency was amazing and he carried out the work with little mess, tidying up after him. He was friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Dave was incredibly helpful, patient and kind when helping us to choose our carpet - we changed our mind several times! He even came and helped us to remove our existing carpet before the timber spray. He is knowledgeable and genuinely wants to make sure that his customers are satisfied and happy with the carpet that they choose. He managed to fit our carpet in just over half a day and left everything clean and tidy. This guy is an absolute star! We have just been refurbishing our whole house for the past 9 months and were on a very tight budget. We had gone to the usual carpet retailers on the High Street and found that by using David you gained a reliable, knowledgeable professional. We were able to increase the quality of our carpet within the same budget by using his services. We contacted him, within a day he visited offering loads of advice and help; he showed us differing types of underlay, something the High Street retailers were not interested in, and loads of carpet samples. We were able to book him for the dates we required. He turned up when arranged and completed the work to an excellent standard within the time scale he stated. He obviously cares a lot about his work and his customers and is well deserved for his TV career. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again.

I certainly would now ,having had him work for me, would only have him in my house to lay flooring. The carpets were beautifully laid, no scratches on paint work and spent time on detail discussing just what I would prefer in the finish on the stairs and where the carpet joined another floor surface. Dave quite obviously enjoys his job and it shows in his customer service and the finished product.

Arrived early with cup of tea for me! David brought a colleague with him and they made very quick progress. David was polite, friendly, professional throughout. His knowledge of carpet fitting is excellent. Because of the nature of the job and the need for a quick turnaround, there was no time for David to measure up so I did it myself and David calculated the amount of carpet (cut lengths) required and also recommended the best type of underlay. (I supplied the materials as we have a business account with a flooring supplier). As a result there was not quite enough carpet to finish the job without creating a join. David pointed out where I had made the error in my measuring. He was concerned about having to put in a join. He recalculated and managed to complete the fitting without needing to put in a join. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Lovely character, very professional, made the day a pleasure.

A first class job! When we first called David round to provide a quote we found him very knowledgeable about his trade and was able to advise us what carpet would be best for us, even moving us away from selecting a more expensive carpet due to it perhaps not standing the rigours of two small children! The work was carried out to a very high standard and David was able to fix a problem with the carpet (as a result of the supplier) without having to get a different role or affecting the quality of the carpet laid. An excellent job and I will certainly be using David again for any other carpets that need fitting in my house.

David came around as promised with a huge selection of carpets. Firstly he measured the room (a very large loft conversion). He then explained the laying options. Because of the size, the carpet needed to be joined. You can not see any join, even if you know where it is. Reliable, honest and brilliant at his job. Even when he found our wooden floor was badly fitted he went away and thought about how to fit our carpet so as to hide the problem and refused to rush the job until he was satisfied it was done properly. Even came back several weeks later when we found we had loose floorboards and needed help relaying carpet. A real gentleman. Thank you.

David was reliable and personable. He was honest is pointing out a small fault in the vinyl which I might not have noticed until he had gone. He took steps to ensure the supplier was aware of the fault and a reduction in price was agreed. I would have no hesitation in using David again or recommending him to friends.
