Electrical work.
Mr Hardy was professional throughout. Came when he said he would, carried out works as requested and even made good other peoples work. Kept in regular contact. Couldn't fault the work, tidied up afterwards, spotless. Quick paperwork. Excellent. I would be happy to recommend them.

Extension and de-rating of existing ring main and fitting of extra ceiling light and installation of PIR activated exterior lights.
I cannot recommend Darren enough. He was recommended to us by a friend who had some work done on their house. He came and quoted us for the work as arranged and then was able to start when he said he would. He gave a competitive price and because of this and his excellent customer focus and communication became our choice. He completed the work pretty much within the time he said he would. A few things threw up a few problems which can only be expected sometimes, but he worked long hours to ensure the work was completed and did a follow up visit to finalise the work as agreed. We are very please and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend to friends.

Connecting underfloor heating thermostat and new boiler timer clock
Darren turned up at short notice which was excellent as my heating timer clock had stopped working. Did a good job and tided up afterwards. Would use again.

Porch light
Better than expected! Darren installed a new porch light, wired up to a PIR. He was able to link it up to an existing switch, which I had been led to believe from another electrician that had come to look that it couldn't easily be done. He took extra care to ensure that all the wiring was hidden. Perfect job, I'd say. Darren also tested my system and noticed that my earth connection wasn't as good as it could have been, and recommended that I contact UK Power Networks to have them review the system (since it is their responsibility). As a result a new earth connection was later installed by them. No hesitation to recommend Darren, and will definitely use him again.

We were very happy with the work. Darren was always happy to discuss the work and explain any questions we had. When we asked him to re-fit a light fitting because we had forgotten to paint the ceiling above it he didn't bat an eyelid. We would certainly recommend him.

Problem with breaker in consumer unit
