Chimney stack removal

Having discovered that my roof was leaking around a chimney stack, I decided to ring Mr Paine on the basis of the excellent recommendations left by previous customers. Mr Paine came to give an estimate the same day that I rang and recommended that the chimney stack be removed as it was no longer in use. The price quoted was very reasonable and the work was carried out 3 days later. I was fortunate that Mr Paine was able to carry out the work so quickly as it was discovered that the chimney stack could have collapsed at anytime. The standard of workmanship carried out by Mr Paine and his colleagues was excellent, they were extremely tidy and swept up afterwards and were very polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending D J Paine and Son to family and friends and will definitely use them again for any future roofing work.

Fixed ridge tile

Lost a ridge tile and they fixed it along with a further tile. Wasn't the best weather and they came out at short notice to save further damage or the tile falling on anyone. Polite, friendly and tidy. Very pleased.

New flat roof, including insulation and re-boarding. Repairs to main roof, UPVC plastic fascias, soffets and guttering.

I would recommend this firm 100%. The standard of workmanship was acceptional, they stuck to the estimate even though some supplies turned out to be more expensive, they came when they said they would and they were a complete pleasure to have around. I couldn`t have asked for anything more.

Wall tile repair

Flat roof recovering/repair work. Guttering facias etc replaced.

Work was completed in a professional manner. Work took longer than expected due to the weather, but the men worked around this and were very conscientious. I was always informed about what was going on and if anything was found that needed attention, I was consulted before any work was undertaken. I would happily recommend this company to anyone who requires the same type of work that I have had completed. Excellent job. Very reasonably priced. Thank You.

Replacing broken garage roof tiles and cementing of loose ridge tiles on house

Excellent team and refused to do an easy job when tiles did not match. Spent some time finding correct tiles.
