Boiler Repair

I first had another Fulham based company look at my boiler as it was not functioning. The engineer that attended told me my boiler was beyond repair and as the boiler was only 3 years old I decided to get a second opinion. I called Duel Services and they promptly sent an engineer round. The engineer was honest and friendly, he quickly identified the faulty part and as the part was in stock locally, it was fitted on the same day in a quick and efficient manner. As a whole I was very pleased with the service I received, and would highly recommend Duel Services as a reliable and trustworthy company.

Remove Plug and hard wire washing machine

Called Duel Services in the morning around 11h, and booked for 15h-17h bracket the same day. The person who I spoke with on the phone - Debbie - was very nice, straight to the point, asked the right questions, really seemed she knew what she was doing. Lennon arrived at 18h, was very professional, very polite, always in control, left at 18h45. Job well done! Would definitely Recommend them!

Electrical

We asked Duel Services to contact our tenant In SW6 to discuss an electrical problem. Instead Of contacting him, they went to the property without an invitation, they carried out no work and then I was advised by my tenant that the trader pressurised him into paying a service charge.

Response from Duel Services Ltd:
I received a call from the customer explaining he had a problem with his hob and taps at his rented property. I advised the customer of the price to investigate the problem. The customer agreed and advised me that his tenant would pay this fee and he would deduct this from the tenants rent. He did query the free quote procedure which I explained that this is for new installations only. We called the tenant when on our way and the tenant was at work around the corner, he made his way to the property and let us in. We completed our investigations and took the information that was needed to quote the customer to replace the faulty parts. The tenant was not informed by his landlord that he was to pay the engineers charge and that is why he was annoyed. Our engineer would never intimidate anyone over payment, if the tenant had made such a fuss or questioned the payment the engineer would have contacted the office which he didn’t. I contacted the customer to give a quote to replace his hob and replace the tap cartridges and as a good will gesture as a new customer I took the diagnosis charge off and he declined the offer. I apologise for the inconvenience towards the customer's tenant, however I feel if the customer had communicated correctly with his tenant he wouldn’t have been surprised to pay the charge for investigating the problem at the property.
