We were really impressed with the service from Ecofires. When we initially visited the showroom we were given helpful advice and the installation was carried out as scheduled with minimal disruption. Great care was taken to cover and protect our flooring and the house was left clean and tidy after the installation. We are really pleased with the log burner and the quality of the installation. Since the installation we have also been very impressed by the after sales service and have been given helpful advice on using our log burner to its maximum efficiency.

All the workman who were involved in the installation were courteous at all times especially main installer. They used plenty of clean dust sheets to cover furniture and carpets as the job was going to be messy as existing fireplace had to be modified and old liner removed. Care was taken to overcome minor difficulties to install an expensive log effect gas fire.

My stove was ordered and an installation date arranged speedily. I had an onsite quote first and the man turned up when he said he would and took me through all the details carefully. I was given good advice and felt that I understood the options fully before placing the order. The actual installation date was sooner than I had expected which I was pleased about. The 2 guys who came to install the stove were prompt and courteous. They surpassed my expectations - they replaced a sooty chimney cowel for free and made good some broken tiles on the roof that they had spotted at no extra cost. I was given a comprehensive demonstration of the stove with some wood and kindling thrown in and they are happy to come back and help if we have any problems. Love the stove - great service.

A very good Service from start to finish. They were very forthcoming with information when questions asked during Sales / Quotation stage, about different types of Stoves in Store and what our requirements were. Also during installation, from Guarantee to Wood/Kindle supplies. Quotation was broken down into understandable sections and was a good price. Competitor quoted a higher Price and was not as helpful.

A very professional job, the staff that performed the installation were friendly and helpful and performed a first class job, even though the fireplace and chimney proved to be awkward to fit the stove into and get the flue down. They went out of their way to ensure all work undertaken was finished to a high standard and were able to provide exact matching stock bricks when access was required into the chimney through the wall. We are very happy with the finished result and look forward to using the stove, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eco Fires as a reputable and professional company who are also very reasonably priced.

1st rate company to deal with! Visited to the showroom and prior to placing an order we were offered a site survey to ensure suitability etc. Expert technical advice from Peter, once order was placed regular updates as required kept everything on track. The fitting team arrived Jim and Philip carried out the install work without fuss or delay and worked around us. Overall the quotation was competitive, but what won it over for us was just the depth of knowledge held by both Peter and Philip which instills confidence.

Great job! From the initial scoping visit to the final fitting, the guys at Eco Fires did an excellent job. They were friendly, professional and reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The job involved lining the chimney and knocking out part of the old fireplace before the stove could be fitted. Through sheer hard work it was all done in a day to a really high standard. If you're thinking about getting a wood burning stove go and see these guys. Just make sure there are plenty of biscuits on the day!!

Removal of the old fire and fireplace was carefully done to minimise impact on decoration. Fitter worked with every due care and consideration regarding the new installation. Long lead time between initial quote and survey and installation but when complete the results were great. To be fair to Eco fires the initial visit was in December so holidays were to be taken into account in the lead time. We have been pleased with the service we have received. Before agreeing to the work, we were visited in our home by the company to discuss/advise what sort of fire/stove would be suitable. This was free of charge. After agreeing to go ahead, a full inspection was made of our chimney and fireplace to ensure that the stove chosen could be fitted. A full quote was then given which proved to be exact. In view of the bad weather this week we would not have been surprised if the work had to be postponed, but not a bit of it. Calvin and his colleague worked hard in freezing conditions and stayed late to ensure the job was completed. All the staff we have met have been professional and friendly, and I would particularly praise Calvin and colleague for working against all odds on Wednesday. I would have no hesitation in recommending Eco Fires. We are delighted with the new stove!

The initial quote was not the lowest, however the person who did the quote was thorough, honest, professional and provided us with a lot of confidence in the company. We were given several options and advice on the pros and cons of each choice. There was no pressure to sell and he managed our expectations on when installation could take place once we were comfortable with the quote. The quote came through when he said it would and we were kept advised as to the status of the order once we had accepted it. When the stove had been delivered to them we were contacted and we were able to arrange a mutually agreeable date to perform the installation. The guys who installed it were obviously experienced professionals and qualified to do the work (both installation and decommission). They arrived on time and just got on and did the job, keeping me informed of any issues along the way. The work took a bit longer than planned due to the appalling weather but was completed well. My opinion is that the work was completed to an excellent finish. Since then we've had a call to ensure that all is well and some general helpful advice from the team. These guys aren't sales people pushing a product, they are honest about what they do and give good advice which is all the sales technique they need. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Pete originally visited us to give a quote and then Phil fitted the stove, they were on time, courteous and gave us the most competitive quote by far but also good advice. They listened to what we wanted and gave us advice based on this. Compared to another local company who quoted us more than three times the amount but also told us that our existing fireplace was not large enough to accommodate a stove. Ecofires managed to fit a stove without any problems at all and saved us money on a new fireplace.

I cannot recommend Eco Fires and Stoves highly enough! After we had a nightmare experience with a different company, they came to the rescue and installed a very tricky chimney flue and woodburning stove for us and were brilliant.
