Prompt to come and give us estimate but when job arranged, didn't turn up on day or call. When we called he said he had problems and would call us back but didn't, didn't return call to subsequent message. Sockets fitted but left hanging out, didn't fill the plaster on walls where socket fitted, I expected him to fill it leaving us to sort out re-painting. But since has been back to rectify.

Mark replaced 3 mains wired smoke detectors for me and explained how and when to replace the back up batteries, which was very useful. He was very tidy and courteous. I'm very pleased with the job and relieved that my house is now protected by smoke detectors that actually work!

Mark accepted our call for help at short notice when our switch started tripping with no reason on a late evening. At the first attempt at troubleshooting, we could not ascertain the issue and Mark left with the issue resolved as far as the tripping switch was concerned. However within 10 minutes the issue of tripping came back and Mark returned again and this time, he did a comprehensive check and narrowed it down to the dish washer. Mark recomended an appliance repairer and we were very impressed by his work and responsiveness.

It was difficult to pinpoint the problem which actually turned out to be two separate issues. Mark came at short notice, located and resolved both problems and was happy to wait while we ran the washing machine (which had been the initial trigger for tripping the power) to make sure that the problems had been fixed.

Mark quoted for this job in January 2010. He supplied the SWA cable to run to the cabin, which was laid during the cabin construction. After considerable delays (on my part!) I asked him to finish the installation in November 2010. He held the original price and fitted the job into his schedule. His work is to a high standard and overall exceeded my expectations. The cabin now feels 'alive' now it has lights etc. Recommended.

Fixed the problem short-time, explaining what had caused the problem and clearly explaining how to prevent the same situation from occurring again.
