Eric came to service our back boiler and discovered that it has not been properly commissioned. So he carried out a full safety check and found the previous owners had neglected a few safety/maintenance items which we can now address. He was very polite and methodical and endeavoured to keep me informed every step of the way.

My mum found her sink blocked even after chemicals used, called in Eric and he fitted us in that afternoon. Eric explained what the problem was that he could see and also explained that we may need a new hose if the leak could not be fixed so we just asked Eric to change the hoses when he fitted the sink etc back together. We were told the price for the work plus the price for the hoses if needed. 10-10, very polite, clean and tidy. Well recommended.

I contacted Eric on Saturday afternoon to fix my 82 year old mother-in-laws boiler, which wasn't heating the radiators. He came round later and diagnosed the problem. He came round later in the week and completed the job, going the extra mile to get the job finished. Would definitely recommend Eric.

I was extremely pleased with the work. Eric is extremely thorough and took the washing machine completely apart in order to find the origin. He charged a very low fee for what was quite a few hours' hard work. I would definitely recommend and use Eric again.

We called Eric at 5:30pm on a Saturday, he promised to be with us within 2 hours and arrived at 7pm. He got us going again and made an extremely reasonable charge. We think he is fantastic!

Eric was very thorough, he tested all appliances and sent a report afterwards. He cleaned up after the work, gave advice on safety, boiler efficiency and further work required without pressure to carry out the work himself. Good value, very courteous and I would be happy to recommend him.

I was desperate for a plumber as my family were coming to visit. One plumber had let me know. I called Eric, and he came out within the hour, assessed the problem, ordered the parts necessary and promised me he would fix the problem no matter if he had to work until late on Friday and all day Saturday so there would be water for my family when they visited. He explained things clearly, was neat and tidy, very courteous and friendly, exceptionally high quality of work. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation.

Within a couple of weeks of moving into a new property we discovered a serious leak with our toilet and called Eric after finding coming across his details on this site. Having just moved into the area, I was keen to find a reliable plumber that had good reviews. I explained the problem to Eric and he came out the same day (with no call out charge) to assess the problem. After taking on Eric to fix the leak, we found him to be polite and friendly. He was also clean and methodical in his work - so would use him again. Eric also highlighted some other general issues with the plumbing in our property (which appears to be shoddy workmanship carried out by the previous owners). Although it's not great to hear, I am indeed grateful that Eric bought these to our attention, so we can arrange for them to fixed in the future. Overall I would happily recommend Eric and would not hesitate to use him again.

Very polite, and an excellent quote (I had rung a few of the other higher scoring people from this site, so had comparisons to go on) I expected the price to go up as Eric uncovered and fully explained problem after problem, but none the less he was insistent he would stick to his quote and it took quite some effort on my part to tip him for the excellent work he did. Very happy indeed. Will recommend to others, and will certainly use again.

Clients sometimes don't see the safety checks that have to be performed and I am overly meticulous when it comes to testing what I've done.Also, additional problems cropped up which the client was unaware of, subsequent to the original brief and which were only discovered when the system was dismantled. This necessitated me having to leave the job to buy extra parts and equipment that were necessary to fix the additional problem.To restore services safely and correctly the same day, and not take any shortcuts, meant having to work a bit longer. The client does not seem to have factored this into his expectations, but both the client and I were ultimately happy with the final product as you can see from his scoring of the work done.
