Aside from the quality of the double-glazing units themselves (which is pretty much a given with any reputable company), what differentiates EWC from the competition is their efficiency, courtesy and attention to detail. From the initial 'sales and estimation' process, they were completely on-the-ball, taking on board all our requirements, understanding the specific extras we required and offering proactive solutions at every turn. Their estimate was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest, but they were THE company who inspired confidence, hence our choice. And they didn't fail to deliver. The chaps doing the installation were immensely professional and their standard of work, the neat finish, the 'masking-tape-sharp' lines and the overall solid craftsmanship further inspired confidence from the moment they started work. As a result, we have the perfect job and we are completely delighted with EWC.

After fitting a bay window it took another day and a half to make good the poor finish to original work(including uneven bay ceiling, external brickwork, internal plaster). This company supplies windows with a 3mm allowance for the manufacturer, error. I would not recommend this company.

Response from Ewell Window Company:
The work undertaken involved the removal of a 6ft x 4ft section of brickwork under a roof, fitting of a lintel and three windows to form a bay. Once the inner part of the roof was exposed, it was structurally necessary to place the lintel in a different position than origianlly planned. When the plasterboard ceiling was fitted, it was found to be out of level, due to change of positioning of the lintel. The ceiling was subsequently changed with no issue. One of the windows had a discrepancy in a weld and was immediately re-made and fitted. After fitting the window the rest of the brickwork and plaster was completed. Due to unforseen issues the job took a day and half longer to complete for which we apologised to the customer and issued a credit note for the inconvenience caused. We feel that the comments and scores given do not reflect the finished product and installations.
