Recently Steve and his team have done some exceptional work which we are absolutely delighted with. Upstairs work included a total redesign of the family bathroom where the room was taken back to a shell and new wall built to accommodate the redesign. In the master bedroom a brand new en-suite shower room was designed and built along with walls being modified to accommodate changing bedroom four into part of the master bedroom as a walk in dressing room. Ceilings were skimmed flat and new down lights fitted. Where doors and door frames were removed, walls were rebuilt and skimmed flat to a very high standard. Downstairs Steve and the team have transformed the house by removing an internal brick built wall which separated the kitchen from the dining room to create a large kitchen / diner. Floors had to be levelled as did the walls to ensure everything matched up beautifully. The kitchen was then totally redesigned, new wall and floor tiles and an outside door was bricked up as was an internal door. The ceiling was skimmed flat and more down lights fitted. The end result is stunning ! We cannot fault anything that has been done and we would not hesitate to recommend Excel Bathrooms and Kitchens to anyone. The workmanship is to an extremely high standard, it was completed on time despite us asking for a few extras to be done and the whole team is a pleasure to have working in the house. Steve, Kev and Liam all get a well deserved 10 out of 10.

What a fantastic job, Steve and his team of Liam, Ben and Steve completed the work efficiently, professionally and to a high standard. They were prompt and the time scale they gave for the work was spot on. The price for the complete job was very fair and they did more than the job as they finished off the tiling in the kitchen for us at no extra charge. I would recommend them without hesitation and we will be employing them again this year refit the bathroom.

Steve and Liam arrived on the first week after Christmas to remove our old bathroom and replace it with a walking shower. They gutted the bathroom on the first day leaving no mess when leaving . My wife and I were amazed at the speed they worked at during the week. Steve was very helpful in helping us choose the shower, wall and floor tiles, in respect of colours etc. Their attention to detail is excellent and the standard of work is amazing Steve is a true craftsman in every respect . Steve was as much collaborator as contractor giving great advice on the work we needed to be done. His was a very competitive quote and unlike others was happy to reuse fittings where appropriate rather than putting us to additional expense. We are very happy with the results and the guys were so tidy you wouldn't have known they were in the house. More than happy to recommend Steve and Excel Bathrooms.

Scores surprising but accurate - exceptional work ethic, quality, communication and flexibility. Steve assisted with the design and provided realistic quotes but remained entirely flexible if I wished to provide items and he fit them. The project progressed rapidly - he is an incredible workforce - he remembers everything he agrees to do and does it. Like all trades, he nips out periodically to collect materials and complete small warranty tasks elsewhere but for the agreed period, I knew when he would start and finish each day and he was totally reliable. He worked cleanly, tidying his workspaces safely at the end of each day and I trust him implicitly to be around my home and family. You will not go wrong if you contract this company.

Steve was helpful from discussion of the quotation to the last moment changes we requested as the jobs progressed. Suggesting the visits to the different suppliers who also gave great help in design of furniture/colour schemes. We were never left without any facilities at any time. We found both Steve and Andy extremely professional. From the time Steve arrived to do the estimate to the time they presented us with a brand new bathroom to time and budget we have found their quality of workmanship, advice and assistance top class. These guys have been genuinely helpful and have advised us when we needed it along the way. What we really found a good selling point was that Steve took all the hard work out of it for us and purchased and turned up with all the materials. In short a pair of very tidy, reliable, courteous, hardworking and genuine workmen who deliver what they say they are going to. I would very strongly recommend them.

I cannot speak more highly of Steve, Andy and the other tradesman who work with him. We have ended up with 3 stunning rooms and have received many complements already. Steve will see to anything immediately if things need changing or adapting. If there are problems (and there have few) he will come back and see to them very quickly. The quality of the plumbing supplies is also excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Excel to anyone who wants good quality workmanship, considerate workers and a thoroughly outstanding job completed! An EXCEL - ent company!

Fantastic really pleased with excel he and Andy not only made a great job but were professional at all times I was informed throughout the whole job so I knew what was being done when, and was really pleased that my bathroom was made a little bit special, ideas on the layout of the tiles and also the different types of shower valves and heads. They cleaned up every day, Steve also arranged for plasters to come in to dry line and do the ceiling these two guys were also really polite and great, they even helped when the delivery came to take it all upstairs nothing was too much trouble for them all. Would recommend them anytime.

Steve provided a first class courteous and professional service that included full floor and wall tiling, installation of a power shower, electrics, lighting and the re-siting and installation of new sanitary ware. Steve listened to my ideas and provided excellent advice on the complete refit of my bathroom. After removing the old suite and the boxing, Steve was able to fit the new suite and vanity unit to give me extra space and storage, which exceeded my original expectations of what was possible. The service was very professional and friendly. The bathroom was finished on time and to specification. Nothing phased Steve and the job was stress free. The end result is a superb bathroom which is even better than I imagined it would be. Highly recommended.

Work involved total gutting and reinstalling a new bathroom and kitchen, together with supply and fitting of utility units into the conservatory. Steve and Andy worked like Trojans, contracting in additional specialist tradesmen (electrician, plumber, tiler, etc.) where necessary and ensuring all stores were delivered to site on time in readiness for fitting. All rubble was removed from site promptly and they left the kitchen/bathroom in a ‘usable’ condition every night. Their efforts have transformed a drab 1930s bungalow into a bright, habitable home. Unfailingly professional, polite, courteous, trustworthy and reliable – any ‘extras’ we required throughout the course of the works were not a problem to these gentlemen. You may find a cheaper fitted kitchen/bathroom/utility elsewhere but in Excel’s case, the extra outlay is worth every penny in terms of quality and speed of installation. All of the above works took just over a fortnight to complete, from start to finish. Highly recommended!
