Excellent service, very tidy work, the previous owner had disconnected the aerial, a new digital aerial was fitted and connected to TV's, even added a magic eye in the bedroom to change Sky TV. We had to wait for the Kitchen aerial point to be installed by an electrician (arranged previously), they returned on 28/12 to connect this aerial. They also returned prior to this following the installation of Sky to make good the hole in the brick. Excellent service, would recommend to anyone.

My house does not have a cavity walls so he explained the best place to fit the aerial to avoid trailing wires. Before he left he made sure I understood how to use the new controls and he cleared up any dust.

Found problem with existing internal cabling and had to put in new cabling through a very full loft and reach socket behind furniture, all of which was done without complaint. The engineer Pa first of all was so apologetic that he arrived 5 mins late! FT were contacted because my mother was able to receive a good digital TV signal but the Humax PVR she had to replace a dead VCR would not tune into all channels. Pa was so methodical at testing the signal at all points (the existing installation had a couple of splitters in the system) right up to the roof top aerial. Once he had found the problem (s) he explained them to me and suggested the way forward. This resulted in the aerial being swung from Hannington to Crystal Palace, a new Mast Head unit (?), and an unbroken lead to the main box in the lounge..  Once this was done and the TV and PVR were retuned everything was perfect. He also explained that during the Digital switch over in 2012 there could be further reception problems that could be easily fixed by calling FT in again, it appears that a lot of installations will have problems caused by the switchover.  Pa was a very likeable person and a good ambassador for the company. Thanks for a good job at a fair price.
