Phil was friendly, polite and courteous at all times. The original job was simply to repair the pipe leading to our outside tap, something Phil accomplished before we had finished making him the cup of tea we had offered. He was then more than amenable to taking a look at a couple of other things that we need doing and was willing to give us quotes for them on the spot. We decided to ask him to remove the dishwasher that we don't use for an extra charge, about which he was prepared to negotiate a little. We were very happy with the work Phil did and his manner and would not hesitate to recommend him (having already done so). We certainly plan on using him in the future.

Although Malcolm could not arrive at the given time he phoned twice to inform us that he would be delayed due to complications on another job, but that he would be there on the agreed date, which he was. He attended and corrected the fault (or so we thought) however we still had the awful noise once the toilet was flushed. We phoned back a few days later and within 15 minutes he was there and rectified the fault. A good service and we would recommend.

The main reason for the visit was the kitchen ceiling leak, and searching for the cause of it. It was inconclusive, but no leaks have reappeared, and suggestions were made for mitigating again future possibilities. I was happy with this part of the visit. In addition, a tap in the upstairs bathroom that had come loose was retightened as a possibly contributory factor to the leak. The tap is now fixed in place, and water runs freely, but the seal at the base of the tap has been left sticking out from the side by about 5mm. This looks sloppy. Since then, two emails seeking a rationale (if there was one) for the issue went unanswered. Also, the side panel of the bath was taken off, and no offer was made to assist in putting it back. Disappointing, as the visit generally went well, and Phil was helpful and courteous in the main.

Toilet had been hard to flush for about 3 years. Improved a little after a plumber spent two hours working on it 2 years ago, but then failed completely. Examined Checkatrade list of traders, and selected Fast Track Plumbing from their excellent reviews. They arrived next day, assessed the problem and gave me an estimate. They replaced the syphon, but found it still didn't work correctly. Reason - the previous plumber had fitted a wrong-sized part. When this part was replaced, all worked well. Bill was as estimated. Fast Track Plumbing is very highly recommended.

Phil was slightly late but did ring in advance to apologise for this so full marks to him there...this courtesy is all-to-rare these days! At all times Phil was extremely tidy, very polite and easy to have a general chat with or to answer questions about the work being carried out.  Not only did Phil complete the work slightly early, he also installed a service valve to the water tanks in the loft and a new ball valve on the F&E tank, both of which he completed quickly and both we were not charged for! Phil hoovered up any mess and left the house so clean and tidy you'd never guess he'd been there!
