New bathroom
I have no complaint about the traders ability to do tiling but I could not recommend his company to fit a bathroom. I understand he no longer uses the plumber who fitted the shower but the trader came back 3 times to try to put right a shower cubicle which leaked drastically and could ascertain what was wrong without the input from the manufacturer. The shower tray was crooked, the shower enclosure seals had been cut so that water poured out. He left me with lots of excess mastic to cover up the corrections and the unit plinths are loose and the trader does not reply to my request to finish the job properly. The job was started immediately after Christmas and could not be used until after Easter. Phone calls ignored, days of waiting for a visit, end result not satisfactory.

To cure a leak from bathroom shower
A leak from the bathroom above brought down a section of the hall ceiling. As it only leaked when the shower was running that was obviously the source. Filgate Tiling, after looking at the piping, said the leak must come from the cubicle and if they rebuilt the cubicle that would cure it. I therefore employed them to do that, but after their rebuilding the leak continued. Filgate attended a couple of times later but have not been in contact since. Several telephone messages and finally a letter have all been ignored. Meantime the leak continues.
