I had the new Worcester 36LXi boiler fitted as it is so small it fitted perfectly into my compact kitchen. It works superbly, is extremely efficient and almost silent, unlike my old boiler. It has made a big difference to my central heating and hot water, especially considering the cold spell that we are currently having. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend First Call based on the job that they have done.

Fast response when our boiler stopped working and James gave us all the facts in order to make an informed decision about whether to repair or replace. Within two working days Jez arrived promptly at 8am with our new boiler and we had heat and hot water by 2pm HOORAY! I am a Mother of two young girls and felt happy to have these guys in our home. I was very pleased at how the company came out the next day to look at my elderly mums central heating. Even though they could not fix it straight away they came out twice and got it working enough for background heat as it was very cold at the time. System needed flushing through and this has been done today. Very helpful staff and always willing to call round to help sort out problems. I would definitely recommend them.

The plumber arrived on time, was extremely pleasant and didn't mind taking the time to find out exactly what was wrong with the boiler. He called back when he said he would with an estimate, and two days later returned to fix the problem. Polite and efficient - I would absolutely recommend this company.

First Call came punctually to give the quote for the work, sent the quotation immediately and spelled out clearly what was to be done. The Engineer arrived on time on the appointed day, worked quickly and efficiently and cleared up what little mess he made at the end of the first day and on completion of the work on the second day. He explained the operation of the now boiler clearly and concisely, and completed all paperwork. I recommend this company unreservedly.

The trader has not replied to any correspondence regarding the installation and repairs to the damaged Oak flooring, coving or boxed in pipe work. There is also the matter of a gas safe certificate. We have employed another heating engineer to put matters right and complete the installation.

After having waited 5 weeks without hot water for another Gas Engineer listed on here, I final decided to try someone else. The Engineer arrived during the morning as I was informed. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable, taking just under an hour to find the fault and fix it, a great price too! I asked if the Company he worked for moved radiators and showed the Engineer what else I will need doing and he said yes, I was to ring the office and they would send someone out to quote. He also came up with some other ideas about the moving of the radiator which I had not considered. All in all a great service!

Very impressed with the initial visit by James who gave a detailed description of how the new boiler would be installed and the benefits we would gain. I did not obtain another quotation given we were recommended to First Call Heating, the quotation given by James seemed very reasonable and I was confident we would receive a first class service. On the first day of the installation Jez and Ben arrived to carry out the work which they did in a very tidy and efficient manor, second day Jez returned to complete the installation after which he fully explained the operation of the boiler and controls, over all my wife and I were very impressed with First Call Heating and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Agreed a date and time to fit and turned up on time. Very detailed throughout and Jez kept us fully updated on what he was doing. Once system was installed Jez fully explained how the system works and what we could do to keep it running at it's best. Fully explained the guarantee and call out details. We were given a good initial visit from James who explained our options clearly. He came back quickly with a quote and this was adhered to along with the installation date. Jez fitted the system. We were very impressed with his attitude and knowledge. He was punctual and pleasant and worked steadily to fit in with our requirements. He explained what he was doing at each stage and gave a clear, concise description of how to use the new system. The job was well managed, with everything arriving as required including the scaffolding. The house was left tidy on completion. When 1s Call Heating carried out the upgrade of my central heating system (including the provision of a new boiler) I reported that they were not only 1st Call but were also1st class. Since then, their servicing of my installation has been been both prompt and professional in additional to which the breakdown service provided to my daughter's heating installation (not one of 1st Call's installations) got the system up and running when two other companies had failed!! We changed from a Potterton stand alone gas boiler to a Bosch/Worcester wall mounted one with a new hot water cylinder.  The job was completed in two and a half days and we are delighted with the result. I really cannot fault "First Call", who were excellent. Appointments were kept on time, the standard of work and their general tidiness was outstanding and Ian was always willing to fully explain any query that I had during the installation.  I have no hesitation in passing on my highly recommended endorsement.

Representatives from two different companies (one a national company who constantly advertise on TV) had said that my daughter's boiler was not repairable and a new boiler was the only answer. Jez arrived and could not have been more helpful. Was happy to explain all aspects of the installation as it was going on. Quote, delivered quickly by e.mail, detailed all the required work advised at survey and was very favourable against other quotes. 5yr gtee given on boiler and cylinder whilst other quotes gave maximum 2yrs. Installer arrived on time and alone and carried out all plumbing, gas fitting, electrical and brickwall repairs himself, did not appear to stop for any breaks. He completed all works in two days to an excellent standard, cleared away all rubbish and old equipment and replaced some of the house furniture to its original position. I can not thank my friend enough for recommending First Call Heating to me, nor James Walker and his installer Ian for the unexpectedly high class of advice, workmanship and customer relationship I have experienced with them. I have no doubt that they will look after me in the future as they will be doing the annual service for me. On the 20th February we had a problem with our bathroom radiator leaking having tried to sort this it started to leak in a different place. I could not stop this so phoned First Call the lady in the office said she would contact one of the plumbers out on the road and get them to ring us. Next thing we knew our front door bell rang and on the door step was first call with tool box in hand he sorted the problem very promptly. It took approx 1 hour from phone call to problem sorted. I would recomend First Call every time.

I have been using Firstcall since 2004 when they fitted a new boiler for me and since this date have serviced my boiler on a yearly basis. In december 2008 Firstcall rectified problems to my boiler that had been caused by a rogue builder. The service we recieved at this time was excellent and they even came out over the Christmas holidays when we were having problems. A reliable, helpful and honest company.
