Installation of damp proofing
Frank Schrijver were efficient when booking survey and doing original work. Follow up visit 12 months later was a different story. Eventually arranged a visit and Mr Schrijver checked for dampness. On finding damp still remaining on a wall, he blamed a water mark. His report arrived after 4 weeks and 5 telephone reminders. Had Water Board out regarding water leak, he disputed their findings, Obtained second visit from the Water Board and confirmation in writing that there is no leak. Have requested return visit by Mr Schrijver to review failure of his system. I feel that the trader would not accept responsibility for the work.

“We were shocked to receive a complaint from the customer as the System worked perfectly in the walls where it was installed. The customers complaint relates to an area of the property which was not treated by the Schrijver System although he was informed that we cannot guarantee any effect in areas not installed. During his yearly inspection we pointed out serious maintenance issues needing immediate attention. Four months later these issues remain outstanding. Therefore the customer's guarantee was invalidated as per paragraph 7.4.4 in our T&C. We are fully prepared to defend ourselves in court should the need arise”.

In install damp system in our cottage - cure for rising damp
To install damp system for our cottage. The work was carried out with great consideration to us, and installed on a Saturday. The quote was very fair, and the system starting working straight away. We had some recent work from this company, due to one of the units failing. The work was carried out as part of their gurantee and they came out on a Saturday. The unit was fixed, and we are over the moon with this system. We had quotes from other companies, they would install injections in our walls, and this system is by far the easiest and was the cheapest.
