I got home to find a pipe had burst and my hall ceiling had collapsed. He came round within half an hour and within less than a hour the problem was solved. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Would use him again and would recommend him to my friends.

Initially he seemed very good. After a few blips, he appeared on time and did the initial work - installing a new boiler. He then requested payment. I had no reason to think he wouldn't complete the work, so paid in full. He had also fixed a minor problem with my loo by then. Took 2 attempts and I was without use of it for a week, but got there in the end. The problems began, when it came to completing the work. At first there were excuses then in October all communication ceased. He does not respond to messages left, emails and a letter. So I am left with a wardrobe full of bits of wood that he was going to use to rebuild the cupboard the boiler was in - and a broken mains stop cock. I have repeatedly asked for my keys back but these have not been returned and I now have to pay for a new set. I will have to pay someone to rebuild my cupboard and fix the stopcock. In my opinion, he clearly never intended to finish the work once I'd paid him. I have given him numerous chances to respond. I'm totally disgusted and disappointed and would not recommend him.
