Refurbishment of two bedrooms, stairway and alcove shelving to front living room.
Glen and his team were excellent from start to finish. Glen is very professional, offers good advice, is courteous, enthusiastic and is committed to delivering a great service and customer satisfaction. They completely refurbished two bedrooms (plastering, painting/decorating walls, skirting boards and all other woodwork and changed electrical and lighting sockets), painted the stairway and installed alcove shelving in the front living room. All work was done to a high quality and I'm very pleased with the final result! I would definitely use Glen and his team again for other jobs around the house.

7 doors hung and alcove shelving installed.
Glen (unsurprisingly, due to his professionalism) is a very busy man, although made time when is was in the area to come over and quote for 7 new doors to be hung. Whilst here I also asked him to quote for a set of 2 shelves/cupboards to be built into the living room alcoves. Quotes were delivered on time and within expectations, so we commissioned him to begin the work - which he gave dates on when he could start. In fact he was able to start slightly earlier which was great! He and his team, were on time, fantastically tidy and delivered a great result - with no snagging required. He even fitted some architraving in another couple of rooms, in his own time, just to help us finish them off! We have another few projects coming up, and will have no problem in asking Glen and the team back in to help us with these.

General carpentry and DIY.
Glen has done other jobs for me and because of this I used him again to replace a dishwasher door, fix some door handles, adjust an internal door, remove some surplus worktop in my kitchen, replace front and side panels on my bath, re-tile and affix a shower pole. He works quickly and efficiently and always very polite and helpful.

Removing old cupboards, plastering, painting, renewing skirting boards.
We are delighted with the work done by Glen and his team. They worked very hard and have transformed our open plan lounge/dining room and staircase by removing old cupboards, plastering, painting and renewing skirting boards. Glen clearly takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile to ensure a high quality finish, for instance he insisted on replacing the door to our understairs cupboard. He also made valuable suggestions on design and paint colour. We are thrilled with the result and will definitely be using GM Installations again. Would highly recommend.

Hallway and kitchen makeover.
Having lived with our house as it was for quite some time we decided the time was right for a kitchen makeover. Contacted Glen who promptly came round and quoted. We were so pleased with the estimate that we gave him the go ahead to start as soon as he could. We had the hallway plastered throughout including ceilings, new skirting, new electrical switches. In the kitchen we had ceilings lowered with down lighters installed, one radiator removed and another repositioned neatly hiding all pipework, tiles replaced, wall units removed and replaced, work tops sanded down then oiled, again all electrical switches replaced and new skirtings. Finally we had the floor levelled and the heaviest roll of lino ever laid. Everything has been finished to an extremely high standard which we are very pleased with. We would have absolutely no hesitation in using Glen and his team again and have already recommended him to friends. Planning to have further work done when Glenn can accommodate us. Thanks for the transformation!

Building partition wall with fire door, for kitchen.
I contacted Glen when I saw his feedback on this site and I'm glad I did. I needed a partition (kitchen) wall and fire door reinstated in a flat that is let to students. Glen arrived to quote exactly at the time we arranged, which was a good start! He was very friendly and personable and I immediately got the feeling that he would do a good job. His quote arrived by text a couple of days later. I didn't get any other quotes, as his was in line with my expectations, so I couldn't actually say if it was higher or lower that others might have been. I knew Glen had other work that was keeping him occupied until Christmas, but he managed to fit my relatively small (2-day) job in at a weekend, when he should have been relaxing! I asked for a bit of extra work that Glen hadn't expected, but his quote remained unchanged. The work was done to an excellent standard and I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. He is very busy, so you should contact him as soon as possible.

Complete kitchen refurbishment including new windows and doors.

Gate repair.
I called Glen on Monday and luckily he was in the area so popped around within 20 minutes. He fixed and repaired my gate very quickly and only charged me a small price. I was extremely impressed and pleased such that I asked him if he would fit some internal door locks at another property for me, which he did (see that review) on Thursday that week and did another brilliant and great value job. Nice to meet a workman who is so pleasant, accommodating and doesn't rip you off! Highly recommend!

Fitting of internal door locks and re-glue kitchen door laminate.
After doing a quick, cheap and great job on repairing my gate in Surbiton I asked Glen if he would install some internal our locks at my property in Hampton. He did this and kept to the agreed time and date and did a fabulous job. He left no mess and even glued the laminate back on my kitchen unit doors without charging me any extra. He's a lovely guy, turns up when agreed, is clean and tidy and doesn't rip you off. Highly recommend!
