GARDEN WORKS started working here, in Surrey in the spring of 2009 - following several years of gardening, landscaping and garden maintenance in the Mediterranean area of Spain.

We are a small team of dedicated, careful professionals with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction. Also gaining the trust of our clients is very important. This being evident with the amount of repeat business, 'call-backs' and gardening projects we handle.

Our experience is flexible enough to handle most aspects of gardening work and garden projects. This work covers: Complete 'garden make-overs', regular maintenance programs, fencing, hard landscaping, patio areas, new lawns & turfing, decking, planting schemes, brickwork and pathways.

We are honest enough to say if we can't deal with any particular work, but will recommend other specialist professionals who can.

Re-modelling existing decking

Richard cleverly re-modelled a section of our existing decking as we had replaced our garage with a new building so part of our deck needed to be lowered. It was a tricky job but Richard performed miracles with it. He is very friendly, hardworking and cleared away all the rubbish created which was a real bonus. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

Jet washing decking. Also levelling of uneven land , covering with membrane and bark chips and planting up

Richard is hard working, friendly and helpful. He has a creative streak which he used to good effect in the planning of our new garden area. We are very pleased with the work he has done .

New rear and side fence. Removal of concrete base and creation of flower bed

Good advice during the initial consultation. Work tidily done and the fence looks very nice. Was willing to cut a concrete base down to requested size and advise on brands of shed. Was let down by late delivery from his supplier, but Richard was always on time and kept us informed.

Shed roof - new felt roofing fitted. Fence posts repaired and strengthened

Fitting concrete fence spurs and refitting existing fence panels

Suggested different method of repairing garden fence that had been blown down in high winds than other people who quoted. Did the job efficiently without mess or damage to neighbour's garden, all done in a few hours.

Replacement fence panels and installation of two 'Sheffield' bike stands

The work was done tidily and efficiently and at a reasonable price. The installation of the bike stands have made the common area of the flats much tidier and effective - I would definitely use them again.

Erected a fence on very un-level ground the back of our property

Richard did a great job in building us a really sturdy fence. He was polite, friendly and efficient. He had an eye for seeing the whole of our project and thought of useful additions such as having a removable panel for ease of access.
