The engineer checked the system and soon found the problem, a leaking valve. Despite it being in a very difficult place to get to, he replaced it quickly and efficiently. We have been using Gasworks for some years and always found them to be excellent.

Gasworks delivered a fire in December 2011 but it could not be fitted without scaffolding, a survey had failed to verify this. I have received my money back minus a charge for re-stocking the fire. It was not until I sought legal advice that I received my money back and feel that my treatment in this matter disgraceful, I would not recommend this company.

Work was completed to a high standard but unfortunately we experienced a leak in the evening after completion. Gasworks were quick to address the problem the following day and deducted the cost of an emergency plumber from the final bill. My only dissatisfaction was the amount of brick-dust left behind after the work was completed, resulting in approx 2 hours worth of cleaning!

Trader attended my house to investigate a minor fault with the boiler. The initial diagnosis indicated an inoperative diverter value, although further evidence in my opinion was not available to support this, Replacement valve fitted and at this point a circuit board blew and it was recommended I replace the boiler. In inspection, the trader was unwilling to accept any liability or negotiate.
