Glen went over and above to help sort out the problem with my boiler. Whilst we had to end up phoning Worcester directly due to the extent of the problem, Glen ensured that what they did was correct. The following day, he felt I had been overcharged by Worcester and got on to a rep who confirmed that this was the case. With Glen's intervention, we received half our money back from Worcester. What a service this was from Glen!!! I can't recommend him highly enough.

Glen was the only person that was prepared to come out even though he was up to his eyes with other work. True I did have to wait but I didn't mind as it wasn't an emergency. Thank God I did because now I've found someone who I feel is trustworthy and I also liked him as a person which is very important when you have someone in your house. He changed the ball valve and did a couple of other small jobs as well and I thought that the price he charged was reasonable considering he is very professional. Top class.

We used Glen last year to refurbish a family bathroom and cloakroom. We were so pleased with his work and his competitive pricing that we invited him back this year to refurbish our two en-suite bathrooms – a job that took about six weeks in total. We did have to wait for Glen to be able to carry out the work as he does get booked up quickly but seeing the high standards that he achieved throughout the whole project we can understand why. It was worth the wait. The two bathrooms were completely remodelled, initially taking both bathrooms back to the bare walls and flooring, moving pipework, installing wall mounted WC's and basins and transforming the shower of one bathroom into a wet room. Glen provided very helpful suggestions for the design and other improvements as the work progressed and kept me fully informed at all times. The tiling and finish are exceptional. Glen has an keen eye for detail and takes great pride in both his work and customer service. We are thrilled with the result. Having now used Glen to refurbish all four of our bathrooms I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Glen has previously refitted 2 of my bathrooms in our family home. This is the first time we have used Glen in our rental property. Glen kept both me and the tenant informed as to the progress of the works. Glen could not have done more to ensure that works where completed with the minimum of fuss to my tenant. (Glen worked two consecutive weekends to ensure that the bathroom was completed quickly). My tenants where very impressed that Glen left the house so clean at the end of each day. Glen completed the work within budget and quicker than expected, and to same high standard as I would have expected in my family home. Glen was brilliant, my shower would not turn off in the morning and I had gallons of water going down the plug hole and the stop cock was frozen. Arrived really quickly and sorted the problem. Contacted shower supplier for parts but got me a better deal as shower was on offer and cost almost same as replacements parts would have. He came the day the new shower arrived and fitted it. Also sorted the drip from the toilet cistern - what a star. Going to get him to replace frozen stop cock very soon.

Glen was an absolute star. He was on his way home from work when I called. I explained the leak and problem and he came round there and then to have a look. He did a temporary fix, promised to give me a quote for the work the next day and said he would be able to sort it on Friday. Glen was very helpful before we even agreed to have the work carried out - he was able to advise us on the best way forward and when carrying out the work made sure that we were not without water etc. The boiler was replaced speedily and smoothly and the result is that we now have a much more efficient system that doesn't wake up the household when the upstairs bathrooms are used as we no longer require a pump to get the required water pressure. I have use Glen before and will continue to use him for any plumbing work.

Our family bathroom needed a complete update and Glen spent more than 3 hours in discussing what was required and the best way to proceed. I was very impressed by this, as there were many of Glens suggestions that were used in the new bathroom. The toilet, shower, radiator, bath and sink were removed first then the tiles from the floor and walls, but it was found that the walls were in such a poor state that the plaster had to removed right back to the brickwork. During this work it was found that an internal wall was completely unsupported, so a RSJ and a stone supporting pad was installed. All the walls were 'dot and dabbed' with plasterboard to ensure they were absolutely level in all directions prior to tiling. The plywood base for the floor tiles was marked out and screwed down every 3 inches in all directions using over 700 screws! Glen helped with the choosing of the sanitary ware, shower, bath, towel rail, cupboard units, work surface and sink. These were delivered with the minimum of fuss at the right time when they were needed. The ceiling was repaired and skimmed and 7 inset 12v lights installed. A number of LED lights were also installed (5 in the cupboard plinth and 2 in a couple of tiled alcoves with glass shelves) All the pipe work was carefully hidden behind a bespoke cupboard. The wall and floor tiles (which required lots of cutting) were installed creating a wonderful bathroom to the highest standard of workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend Glen and his team to my friends and family.

My old boiler which was 12 years old had become unreliable and was replaced with a Worcester condensing boiler. The old immersion heater which was taking up valuable space in the bathroom was scrapped and a new unvented cylinder was installed in the loft. Glen and his team made an excellent job of the pipework, tanks and associated electrical work. They were always on time, considerate, tidy and professional. I would recommend Glen to my friends and family without hesitation.

My daughters old gas boiler had failed due to a number of different faults. I contacted Glen on the Friday who was most helpful and it was decided to replace it with a new Worcester combi boiler on the following Monday. Glen fixed the leak that had dripped onto the kitchen ceiling below. He had to work around some technical problems with the contents of the pipe unable to fully dry out, and successfully completed the job in a short time with minimal disruption. An excellent job, clean tidy and replaced all floor coverings/boards etc as good as new. I'd definitely recommend Glen's work, and will use him again.

Glen is a really nice guy, straight as a die. The calibre of work is superb, end of discussion. The tiler he brought in was excellent. Unexpected problems which arose due the eccentricities of our 1935 home were dealt with efficiently and without fuss and the bill for additional work was very reasonable. Cannot recommend him highly enough. Very good value and we're extremely pleased with the outcome. Very much a 'partner' in the job - made helpful suggestions which we were glad to accept.

Leaking toilet was fixed but the shower needed much more work. The tiles were loose behind the shower and water had been seeping through for some time. Mr Mumford removed the tiles carefully, enabling him to replace them, to reveal a rotten MDF board. He removed the lower rotten section replacing it with new better quality material and further reinforcements. He then retiled and returned the next day to grout and seal around the bath. He made an excellent job and saved me the expense of replacing the whole wall.

Found last night that the heated towel rail had dropped off the wall, but fortunately only giving a small leak, which could be contained by placing a container underneath. First thing this morning, went through the "CheckaTrade" website looking for plumbers based locally around Epsom. Came across Glen Mumfords entry and noted that he had a high number of customer feedbacks all with very high ratings. Gave him a call expecting to be put on his waiting list of "jobs to do", but was informed he was passing by our housing estate and could drop in and check the problem,. He was knocking on the front door within 15 minutes, and proceeded to fix the problem straight away. Found that the retaining pins/screws had sheered off, and unable to obtain new ones without long delay from the supplier. Decision was taken to replace with a brand new towel rail, (I dashed off to Plumbase to save time (the clock is ticking), and even got a 20% discount as Glen had called the order through. Job was completed quickly, tidily and professionally. I am normally suspicious of any tradesman that can arrive at the drop of a hat, but in this case I can honestly and truthfully say that Glen Mumford knocks that idea straight into a cocked hat. I have his business card, and will certainly contact him when the next plumbing job arises.

Having completed my bathroom refurb in May, we had no hesitation in calling Glen again to complete our new kitchen installation. Despite problems with the kitchen supplier, Glen and his team overcame all problems that occurred and handled all aspects of the work with minimal fuss including new electric cabling for the induction hob. The kitchen is fantastic and we are very pleased with the finished result and with the fact that Glen is always happy to come back to address any minor snags that may occur.

My gas boiler was condemned, leaving me without any heating or hot water. I contacted Glen who was extremely helpful and gave me an estimate for a new boiler. He was very busy but found the time to help me out. It wasn't a straightforward replacement as I wanted to change my heating to a combination boiler and it had to be sited in a different location in the kitchen. I could not fault Glen's work, the fitting was carried to an excellent standard and I am so grateful that we have heating and hot water, considering the cold weather we are having. Glen completed a renovation of a bathroom and cloakroom and changed the hot water system to a pressured one. The work included the fitting of wall hung wc's, a bath, a shower, radiator, cupboards, tiling and flooring. All of the work was completed to very high standards and we are thrilled with the result. Glen quickly switched on to the 'look' we were trying to achieve and made some helpful suggestions. We will definitely use Glen again and are pleased to see some of our neighbours intend to use him too.

Glen upgraded our central heating system and our bathroom (New bath and sink (+ storage) in a new position and a first time shower). We had micro bore pipes and a ten year old boiler plus the pipe from meter to boiler was the incorrect diameter. We have known Glen for a few years so felt happy to go on holiday for two weeks to leave him to get on with the work. Glen has done a good job, using “proper” support trades to do the job. We recently received the NCIC certificate for the electrical work that needed doing. Glen and his team have done a really nice job with the bathroom, working very late on some evenings to get the job done. With the job almost complete a cold water joint to the shower failed overnight (a Sunday) causing water damage to the room below. We called Glen at 9am on Sunday, he was away for the weekend so couldn't get round himself but he got one of his colleagues round within the hour. Glen called me first thing on the Monday morning, told me what was going to happen and kept in touch with me. Everything has been put right in a very satisfactory matter, no quibbles! Glen did not chase me for final payment, offered me compensation and has happily corrected snags as I found them. In my view these things happen but I think it's how it is put right that is important. When you see dodgy companies on Watchdog it's good to know that you can call on workmen like Glen and his team to work in your home.

In no particular order: removal of old boiler; altering old wall behind basin and finding big void space for unvented cylinder to fit into; replacing all pipes right down to even the neighbor’s; supplied new radiators throughout property; Removed old partitions throughout property and sorted out floor area around these items; new bathroom; new bespoke lounge and bedroom cupboards; new gas supply from entry into property; new water main from entry into property… I’m running out of space. Let’s just say all the work was done to an exceptional standard and I am very satisfied with the work carried out.

Glen was extremely helpful and efficient. Our boiler was fitted and the work completed to a high standard. Glen also diagnosed a fault with our main gas supply, called out British Gas and waited at our house for them to come out and complete the work. Overall we found Glen to be hard working, knowledgeable and good value for money. We would recommend him to anyone.

Despite a couple of setbacks, neither caused by Glen, the setbacks were overcome and the work completed to a high standard. Glen has now completed two jobs for me during them his skill and flexibility have ensured that the jobs were completed on time and to a high standard. Glen was highly recommended to us through a friend. We asked him to "transform" my mother-in-law's bathroom in a very short space of time as she had to be moved while the work was carried out. As a result her bathroom now has new window, new boiler, tiles and a fantastic walk-in shower (with seat and handrails) to my mother-in-law's delight.
