They quickly tracked down the problem explained the solution and temporarily restarted the heating system until spare parts were ordered. Had someone visit to estimate the job, very professional. Came back the next day to complete, also bypassed the timer on boiler and installed thermostat. Thermostat job done within the same hour that the combi-boiler job would have taken, so no extra for doing it. They work fast and professionally, they are aware of their hourly rate, and use time effectively. Communication was excellent, and time keeping spot on. I was also emailed the next day a quote for some bathroom plumbing work, again, very professional. It may be possible to get someone cheaper, but I really trusted these guys, and will use them again in the future.

The best plumbing experience of my life. Don Lynch was friendly, cheerful, extremely knowledgeable and competent, worked hard for 2 hours (there were genuine unexpected complications) and then only charged me for one. He was a little later than expected, but since I had said that the time was not important this is barely a fault.

I was most grateful as it meant that I saved myself the call out fee. I continue to be hugely impressed by these guys. From the first appointment Nigel was on time (very important as myself and my wife are busy doctors), and extremely polite and fast at diagnosing the issues. He went out of his way to fit us in early and then stuck to his word. He has done 3 or 4 jobs over the last 2 years for us and has been top class each time. Always on time, and very efficient when he or his colleague Steve are here, I've even had to chase them to pay them at times! I can honestly say, that if you are looking for honest, ethical workmen who will be clear and accurate about the problem and pricing, and professional enough to turn up on time and go the extra mile, then look no further than Glow maintenance. Early Saturday evening my boiler broke down.  On a Saturday night, after a full days work, Don from Glow maintenance came round and fixed the problem straight away. Otherwise I would have been without hot water all weekend and had to take the day off Monday to have it fixed. The work was done precisely to the estimated cost, they turned up exactly when promised and solved all the minor problems they encountered in a skilled and sensible way. I had been let down by four other local plumbers who never turned up or who failed to send in a promised quote. Glow Maintenance are totally different to the usual stereotype of dodgy plumbers. They do exactly what they say they will do and stick to agreed costs and timetables. I will be recommending them to all my neighbours.
