Good Wood Floors was founded in 1992 in Reigate in Surrey. I have worked in the flooring industry for 20 years and have built up a reputation for hard work and attention to detail for a good job.

We have experience of Installing all types of Wooden floors, Strip, Herringbone, Parquet, Overlay, Block, Panels, as well as laminate floors.

We also do Sanding, Staining, Filling and Varnishing, Sealing and Oiling of existing Wooden Floors. We are also Specialists in Reclaimed wooden floors and renovation of period floors with reclaimed materials machined to size.

Supply and install oak engineered wooden floor and new skirting boards. Came round to show samples and estimate the job. Discuss pro/cons, creative ideas and explains the job to you. This ensures you get exactly what you need and no surprises. Helps you visualize the finished look. Discusses and advises on aftercare of the floor. Materials are top quality. Work is of the highest of standards and shows a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication to tell you what is being done and when. Very tidy when installing the floor and takes good care of your home/property. Excellent time keeping. The finished flooring and skirting looks very clean and crisp. Assisted with the hiding of AV cables behind skirting and underneath flooring. Very trustworthy trader and extremely pleasant to deal with. 100% satisfied and would happily recommend to anyone.

Bedroom floorboards sanded and varnished.
Top notch service as usual! Old floorboards in bedroom sanded, gaps filled and the whole floor varnished. The finished result looks amazing!

Sand and reseal wood kitchen floor.
They came when they said they would and did exactly the job they quoted for. The room was left clean and tidy. The floor looks fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the company and will use them again.

Fitting new Herringbone parquet floor blocks and finishing.

Re-sanded the kitchen floor and work surfaces, re-varnished them.
The work was exceptional! I did not expect anything else as David had worked for us in the past to this same every high standard. I made slight changes in line with the decoration of the kitchen and David was able to accommodate that i.E colour of the varnish. Both my husband and I are very happy with the new floor.
