Greenwood Paving is in it's fledgling stages of start up, born out of the frustrations of working for others who cut corners and rate profit over quality & customer satisfaction. We are a small hard working and friendly team.

New fence.
Joel removed our old fence and replaced it with a new concrete post, closeboard wooden fence. His prices were competitive, he was able to complete the job quickly and he's also a nice guy. What more could you want!

Joel and his team have done an excellent job. The quote came in very quickly and Joel was always more than happy to talk through any element of the work. Once they were on site the work was done quickly and to a high standard. The whole team were a pleasure to have around and stuck it out even when the weather was atrocious. Joel and his colleagues did a very good job and have transformed our back garden. Joel gave very practical, cost-effective recommendations and was always very quick and efficient in coming back to me - from initially coming round to provide a very reasonable quote for the work through to answering my queries about materials. His team were very punctual and got the work done to a high standard within the promised timescale. We would definitely recommend Greenwood Paving.

Re-paving of drive in front of our house.
Joel is very experienced and has an eye for detail. He had some really good input in designing what we were going to have done and were are delighted with the result. Joel and his team were very good to deal with: timely, courteous and professional. The weather was not great (very cold and wet) and they handled this well. I was really impressed in the way Joel was closely involved in every aspect of the work (not just good on design but happy to get his hands dirty and lay the paving bricks). The only other point to mention was that we decided to have a new brick wall built. The guy who did this was excellent. It really compliments the driveway.

Finish a front garden wall, pillars, hang gate.
They visited the site and gave me a price. Date fixed the next week and brickwork completed to a high standard. Some bricks had to be cut to give a swan neck profile. Get them in to give you a quote.

Big deck built in back garden.
Joel built a huge deck in our sloping back garden, with stairs down to the lawn. This was a difficult job to design and build as it was built on top of an old 80s rockery area. Joel and the guys working with him were excellent throughout - really hard working, cheerful, tidy and did a really skilled job! They dug out the old rockery/patio and replaced it with a fantastic decking area. Joel got a carpenter to make a staircase to go down to the lawn which is a real work of art and it didn't cost us any more than the original quote. The end result is fantastic! So much better than we ever expected! I only wish there were more jobs around our house which I could ask Joel to do (he also did a great job on our drive last year).
