Ground Designs was formed in 2006 by Gary Joynes, who has over 30 years experience in the business of complete landscaping. We are keen to provide an outstanding service to our customers, whatever the size of the job, from total design makeovers to general garden maintenance.  

Ground Designs operates as one dedicated, professional landscape team. This ensures you benefit from first class service and expertise from start to finish. We do get very busy from February onwards so please bear this in mind when planning work in your garden. Demand is especially high throughout Spring and Summer and lead- in times can reach 8-12 weeks, but Customer Feedback confirms we are worth waiting for. As always, you get what you pay for. If you want a first class job allow plenty of time so that you receive the best workmanship and customer service.

For small scale jobs we may be able to fit them in between larger projects, so please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. We look forward to your call...

Whole garden design and transform.
I do not hesitate in recommending Ground Designs and in particular, Mr Gary Joynes, who with his excellent hard working workforce, transformed my garden completely.  I was consulted at every stage, regarding the design and layout of the whole garden. Gary was great to work with. He spent time listening and understanding our requirements and worked with us to ensure that we could achieve the result we wanted within our budget, suggesting a number of ideas to bring the costs down without compromising on quality. Once the work had started, Gary, Richard and Dean were very polite and tidied up at the end of each day's work. Gary kept me informed of what they were doing and if there were decisions to be made, he would offer practical suggestions and the pros and cons of the different options. I will be eternally grateful to them for removing the enormous eucalyptus tree stump, which has been the bane of my life for a number of years! Highly recommended.

We had Gary and his team install a gravel drive (approx 160 sq m), stone wall, 5 bar gate and brick paving and only have positive things to say about the experience from start to finish. These gents are very reliable and entirely trustworthy. Open communications from the beginning to the job's completion - always making sure we were happy with status and the plan of next steps. Full of good ideas and clearly has an eye for detail. Strongly recommended.
