My daughter organised for Mr Simmonds to replace earth with a beautiful driveway. Mr Simmonds & his men worked extremely hard every day & explained exactly what they planned. My husband John died on 5th January 2007 and when I decided on the same brick driveway my husband had planned 2 years before, Mr Simmonds stuck to the same price he and John had shock hands on! Amazing, in these times of greed. I would be happy to recommend him.

Removal of old tarmac drive; replacement with shingle drive and new perimeter paving path.
Mark and his team completed this project in Oxshott, Surrey, just before Christmas and have done a really excellent and professional job. They were punctual, hardworking and tidy - removing all debris - and above all, were very nice and patient to deal with. Mark personally travelled to Reading to source the right gravel for us and also happily put up with several decision changes on the path. The result is really stunning - it has transformed out house and we are delighted.

Clearing and resurfacing of driveway with pea-shingle.
This was not a straightforward job since it involved removal of a number of old tree stumps and roots which had erupted through the existing surface and leveling of ground which had been cut for a new drainage system. We also needed new fencing and fixing of drain gulleys. We were confident in Mark's experience in undertaking this type of work and his assured manner in advising us.The price quote represented good value for money in comparison with other estimates received. The project was completed within the scheduled period and I was consulted about any issues which cropped up. Mark's team members were both friendly and polite and could be trusted to get on with the work without constant supervision. The site was always tidied at the end of the day and equipment stored neatly. We are very pleased with the standard of the finished work and the transformation of the driveway. I would have no hesitation in recommending Guildford Driveways to others.

Replaced broken concrete drive with a Blocked drive.
Competitive Price. Kept things very tidy. Did a good job. Stuck to their schedule. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Breaking and removing a large concrete drive. Creating a new gravel drive with edging, new fencing and a new turf area.
Mark and his team have done a fantastic job and worked very hard. Aside from the ongoing professional manner and pride in the work I was particularly impressed with Mark's support when problems cropped up. In finer detail, the product used/chosen by Mark was very tasteful e. G granite set edging and good quality fencing with gravel boarding etc. The only extra we had was for the hire of a 3T digger that was unforeseeable required and was reasonably priced. Other extras were absorbed where possible into the original quote. Workings days were full and the team were all professional and polite. Every night the garden was swept and left tidy. I would fully recommend Mark and his team and would certainly use them again.
