I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mr. Harrington. He did a splendid job of constructing a featheredge fence at our parent's property in Redhill at a very reasonable price. He is honest, polite and courteous and his timekeeping is excellent. He worked quietly and efficiently and left everything beautifully clean and tidy. When we obtained his quote his recommendations were very helpful. He is a superb craftsman. We will certainly be using his services again in the future.

Cant speak highly enough of Kevins work and professionlism. Kevin from the intial estimate to the fitting of the wardrobes and shelves was approachable, timely and completed the work to a very high standard. When the items arrived I emailed and he responded very promptly arranging to come and do the work within days of the delivery. The work was all completed in a timely manner and to a very good standard. Kevin cleared everything up so that the bedroom and the stairs were immaculate. Kevin was polite, punctual, gave good advice and carried out the work professionally. The final cost for the work was less than originally estimated, as he admitted that it took slightly less time to complete - This was refreshing in my experience. Kevin will definitely be my first port of call for future carpentry works.

As Kevin had done such an amazing job of our decking last autumn, we asked him back to replace the fencing. He quoted us for the job and at the time we had agreed to keep the concrete posts. We subsequently decided to remove and replace them and Kevin did this with no extra charge, even though it was pretty tough going and added hours to the job in hand. We cannot speak highly enough of him, his craftsmanship and his professionalism and we would happily recommend him to anyone. He will be returning shortly to install fitted wardrobes in our bedroom.

Kevin did a great job removing old loft insulation and replacing with new. A dirty job but there was no mess and all the old stuff was removed and the house left clean and hoovered. The doors and floor were fixed in less than the estimated time and charged for accordingly. A great job. Happy to recommend Kevin and will use his services again.

First time I have used Harrington, he quoted a daily quote which was substantially less than his charge for this job - My fault, I should have insisted on an estimate!! I would recommend them.

This is the second time I have carried out work for this customer and on both occasions I have quoted an agreed hourly rate. A ‘daily quote’ was not applicable due to it being very difficult to calculate how long it would take to complete the varied list of repairs. Also some of the work would take less than a whole day to finish. I was surprised by the comments as a calculation of the hours worked by the hourly rate was how all the work was charged. When all the work was completed and payment received, there was no hint of dissatisfaction from the customer. I believe I have a very good Checkatrade record on estimating and do not feel the above remarks are in anyway a fair reflection or indeed representative of how I quote and invoice work.
