Harvey Young Carpentry Services was founded in 1988 after I completed a City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery. Since that time I have gained experience in new housing carpentry, timber frame erecting, property refurbishing, repairs and maintenance. I have been involved with many projects ranging from hanging doors, cut and truss roofing, 1st fix, 2nd fix, flooring and loft boarding .
I have been involved in many projects over the years ranging from a 16th Century townhouse refurbishing, extensions and quite recently I was asked to construct a stage for a folk festival.
I also offer experience in the construction and fitting of aids for people with disabilities. These have included disability ramps, bathing aids and decking in order to turn a sloping garden into a usable area. As my wife is partially disabled I am familiar with many problems that people with disabilities have to face.
I offer my services to householders, builders and landlords. I can offer a supply and fit service or labour only and I am more than happy to give advice in order to help with a smooth and cost effective job.
I pride myself in being tidy, polite and offer a professional service. At all times I will keep the customer informed of the progress.
During my 23 years experience I have come across many situations that may seem insurmountable to the customer but I will always endeavour to overcome these
