We founded Heat & Home with the sole, simple aim of being an expert heating company. Ben was 8 years with a leading Gas company, where he was highly regarded, before starting Heat & Home 4 years ago. Ben's knowledge of boilers and heating systems is unrivalled; repairing boilers where others had condemned them, so we quickly gained a loyal customer base.

We have grown slowly and along the way selectively recruited competent engineers to help us uphold the company's reputation for quality work. With a small team of polite, intelligent, well trained engineers, we are able to provide a full range of heating services, including gas boiler repairs and installations, wood burning stove installations, integrating wood burning boiler stoves with conventional heating systems and installing high quality biomass boilers.

We run our business from our offices/showroom in Rochester, where our customers can contact us 6 days a week and can even come and talk to us face to face. Our customers can also view our range of high quality wood burning stoves, which include Charnwood, Future Fires and Broseley stoves and speak with our knowledgeable staff. Our showroom is open Mon - Sat, 10am - 5pm. Parking is available.

Part of the success of our company is providing great value: we are not the cheapest, but we do give the best value services to our customers, such as:

·         10 year parts & labour warranties on Ri, Si & CDi Worcester boilers + FREE TRVs for your whole system OR a magnetic filter with every new Worcester boiler installation*;

·         A magnetic filter fitted on every new boiler on a parts only cost basis; and

·         Half price power flushes with every install.

We also hold lots of free events where our customers can access our knowledge for free.

  • NEW BOILERS: 7 or 10 Year parts and labour boiler warranties on ALL our Worcester boiler installations.
  • BIOMASS BOILERS: we install high quality Austrian and Bavarian biomass boilers
  • WOOD BURNING CENTRAL HEATING - HETAS registered for solid fuel installations - wet and dry - we can integrate your heating system with a wood burning boiler stove.

New combi boiler install and also moved in to our garage.

I feel I have to give 10 out of 10 for all scores for Heat and Home. The reason for this is from the moment I contacted them I was given a 1st class service! I originally called them just by chance from a link I found on the Worcester Boiler website. I had initially had 3 other quotes 3 from other companies and I must say Heat and Homes quote was one of the best! They were the quickest to send me their quote (I am still waiting for 1 company to send me theirs) and above all they were very reasonable. My wife and I were concerned about letting Heat and Home carry out the works as we did not know them from Adam but reading the reviews on Checkatrade and also being an approved installer for Worcester it put our minds to rest. The works were carried out 1 week after providing them with a small deposit. The works took 2 days to complete. Their engineer who I believe was called Doug was polite and every time he went in our home he placed dust sheets on the floor and also put little blue shoe protectors on. The engineer kept me informed of his process as the work went on and upon completion he provided me with a detailed explanation of the boiler controller. The office staff was also very helpful from day one as I explained to them that my current boiler was broken and we did not always have heating and hot water and they rushed my works to the top of their work list. I have already recommend Heat and Home to my neighbour who is looking for a boiler replacement. Thanks Heat and Home!

A new boiler was installed with a system upgrade and power wash.

As always, all three engineers were polite, professional and helpful. They arrived a day early, by arrangement, which was greatly appreciated. They worked quickly, efficiently and importantly to us, cheerfully. Have had this firm repair and maintain us for a couple of years now and would not use anyone else.

Central heat reinstallation

Well presented quote made adjustments and adaptions easy. Personal preferences were easy to calculate. Work was efficiently completed and minor adjustments were speedily completed the following day. Service was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone, friends and family included .
