We founded Heat & Home with the sole, simple aim of being an expert heating company. Ben was 8 years with a leading Gas company, where he was highly regarded, before starting Heat & Home 6 years ago. Ben's knowledge of boilers and heating systems is unrivaled; repairing boilers where others had condemned them, so we quickly gained a loyal customer base.

We have grown slowly and along the way selectively recruited competent engineers to help us uphold the company's reputation for quality work. With a small team of polite, intelligent, well trained engineers, we are able to provide a full range of heating services, including gas boiler repairs and installations, wood burning stove installations, integrating wood burning boiler stoves with conventional heating systems and installing high quality biomass boilers.

We run our business from our offices/showroom in Rochester, where our customers can contact us 6 days a week and can even come and talk to us face to face. Our customers can also view our range of high quality wood burning stoves, which include Charnwood, Future Fires and Broseley stoves and speak with our knowledgeable staff. Our showroom is open Mon - Sat, 10am - 4pm. Parking is available.

Part of the success of our company is providing great value: we are not the cheapest, but we do give the best value services to our customers, such as:

·         10 year parts & labour warranties on Ri, Si & CDi Worcester boilers + FREE Worcester timer or programmer with every new Worcester boiler installation before end of March 2014*;

·         A magnetic filter fitted on every new boiler on a parts only cost basis; and

·         Half price power flushes with every install.

We also hold lots of free events where our customers can access our knowledge for free.

  • BOILER BREAKDOWN SPECIALISTS - we rarely condemn a boiler. Top 50 common boiler parts - on the vans - we aim to complete the repair on the first visit.
  • NEW BOILERS: 7 or 10 Year parts and labour boiler warranties on ALL our Worcester boiler installations.
  • BIOMASS BOILERS: we install high quality Austrian and Bavarian biomass boilers
  • WOOD BURNING CENTRAL HEATING - HETAS registered for solid fuel installations - wet and dry - we can integrate your heating system with a wood burning boiler stove.

Full central heating system installed.
We couldn't praise the team enough who came to fit our new gas central heating. They were very professional with the work they did in the last few days. Every one of them worked very hard and tidied and hoovered up after themselves. The house was always left as they had found it. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone wanting this kind of job done at a reasonable price by an extremely competent team.

Wood burning stove installation including required building work.
Nice people to deal with. Everyone they sent up was very friendly and courteous. Their recommended builder was excellent. Felt like I had to do a lot of the phone calls to drive the installation to completion. As an example they could improve on their communication regarding the installation process (it will not be completed on consecutive days to allow the fire cement to harden). It would have be nice to have had a total plan for the installation dates up front. Small things but they do make a difference to customer satisfaction.
