Heat Light and Power LLP has been founded on more than 20 years of experience in the electrical trade.

With the changes to Gas flue requirements for access to the flues along their full length an ELECTRIC boiler is an option to cutting access panels in the ceilings that contain any gas flues.

Electric boilers are 99% energy efficient, very quiet and a life expectancy of upto 25 years (depending on the boiler type).

We undertake all types of electrical work.  Responding to technological advances, we specialise in:

  • showers
  • under floor heating
  • electric hot water systems
  • electric central heating systems
  • energy efficient lighting and heating systems.

We maintain and repair Gledhill systems: Electramate; Boilermate; Pulsacoil as well as DPS systems and Heatrae Sadia Megaflo systems.

We replace gas boilers with new high efficiency electric boilers: especially where changes in the Gas regulations makes fitting a new gas boiler very difficult.

We are installers for Thermal Innovations' Thermaflow Electric Combination Boiler and Electric Heating Company's (EHC) Fusion boiler systems

We can design, install, commission and maintain electrical systems to your requirements.

Had 2 new electric boilers and water heated radiators fitted 1 year ago. Never worked properly, had 5 different tradesmen to try and fix it. Keith was excellent, identified the problems straight away, excellent knowledge and skill. Very friendly, now working perfectly. I would happily recommend them.

Light switches for 3 floors of GP Surgery

Health and Safety issue and came same day as called. The person who answered the phone was clear and sensible. Keith arrived on time, very polite and helpful. Light switches fixed with minimum fuss and bother. No mess.

Installation of the electrical connection/outlet point for my new range cooker.

The job involved chasing the wall, and Keith completed the job leaving the area perfectly clean and tidy. I was very pleased that the final fee was less than the original quotation; Keith told me the wall was not as solid as he had imagined so the job took less time than he anticipated. Keith also offered some helpful advice about some other matters such as lighting. I shall definitely be calling him back to fit my new cooker hood.

RCBO box installation , changing all sockets and switches and some light fittings

It was a real pleasure to have Keith and Le to work in our house. Having just purchased a new place they were the first and only call we ever made regarding electrical work. The initial quote was precise and accurate. They were extremely flexible with regards to timing and able to finish the whole job as planned, even as I added extra requests during the process. They have great knowledge of their realm of work and are reliable, tidy, polite and most importantly honest people. I hope to never have to find another electrician in London.

Problem solving. Loss of pressure in under floor heating system

Last year Keith successfully solved massive problems with an electric boiler and wet under floor heating system in a new build flat which the building company's installers had been unable to solve over a six month period! Excellent diagnostic skills. Skilful and tidy worker. Helpful, polite and good at explaining problems and suggesting potential solutions. This time it was a loss of pressure in the system which again has hopefully been solved but if it recurs his report gives next steps to a solution. His help is like gold dust in the electric heating market which has very few experts in the field. Cannot recommend Heat Light and Power LLP highly enough.

Installation of electric boiler to replace gas boiler

We cannot fault their service. They were prompt polite and fully explained what they were doing. They kept the disturbance to a minimum and thoroughly cleaned before leaving each day. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services

Replaced light pendant fittings, fitted new spotlight, fixed broken bathroom fan, fitted timeswitch for outside lights

I was very pleased with the work, especially the bathroom fan which Keith was happy to reset.. More importantly, Keith and his colleague were polite, friendly and professional. The timeclock fitted did not work too well in the location so this was upgraded at a later date - no fuss or bother, very polite and professional. Appointments and invoices by email - all excellent. Would highly recommend to women who are sick of MCP's.

Periodic Inspection and Test and Diagnostic Meter fault on your property

W/c 5 Dec and 28 Dec. Keith McCloud is honest, trustworthy, value for money, understanding, reassuring, very methodical and clear about what he will be doing. He does work on time - no messing around. He is contactable and if he cant do a job that day will say so. I would recommend his company to anyone, especially Women as there are too many cowboys out there who try to rip women off. I wish he worked in North London too:). His workmanship is 100% quality standard.

Main fuse problem

The main trip switch in our fuse box flipped over the Boxing day evening affecting a significant portion of our house. For some reason it wouldn't flip back and stay on. So we had to try ringing around trying our luck for any electrician who may be 'on call'. Keith was very kind to give advice over the phone even when he is not working, diagnosing the problem remotely and very patiently went through a step by step guide with us to try and see if we can sort out the problem ourselves (which we did thankfully). Many thanks to Keith and his team!

A fused spur taken off the Fuse Box

Keith arrived on time and was able to carry out the work quickly to very high standard. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and with Keith's professionalism. He was able to answer all of my questions about the job and the rules and regulations pertaining to it. The work area was kept clean and tidy and the quality of the work was second to none.
