Fantastic! Everyone (including manufacturer) had said that the lights couldn't be repaired. Keith did the lot in 1 hour. The man is incredibly knowledgeable, thoroughly professional and reliable and really courteous and pleasant. I can't fault this company whatsoever and will use them again when/if I need to.

Keith and his assistant arrived at 9 on the dot as agreed. They cracked straight on with the job in hand and didn't even pause for a cup of tea. The work was carried out to a very high standard and they even cleaned up the areas they had worked on. The job involved chasing the wall, and Keith completed the job leaving the area perfectly clean and tidy. I was very pleased that the final fee was less than the original quotation; Keith told me the wall was not as solid as he had imagined so the job took less time than he anticipated. Keith also offered some helpful advice about some other matters such as lighting. I shall definitely be calling him back to fit my new cooker hood.

It was a real pleasure to have Keith and Le to work in our house. Having just purchased a new place they were the first and only call we ever made regarding electrical work. The initial quote was precise and accurate. They were extremely flexible with regards to timing and able to finish the whole job as planned, even as I added extra requests during the process. They have great knowledge of their realm of work and are reliable, tidy, polite and most importantly honest people. I hope to never have to find another electrician in London.

Last year Keith successfully solved massive problems with an electric boiler and wet under floor heating system in a new build flat which the building company's installers had been unable to solve over a six month period! Excellent diagnostic skills. Skilful and tidy worker. Helpful, polite and good at explaining problems and suggesting potential solutions. This time it was a loss of pressure in the system which again has hopefully been solved but if it recurs his report gives next steps to a solution. His help is like gold dust in the electric heating market which has very few experts in the field. Cannot recommend Heat Light and Power LLP highly enough.

I was very pleased with the work, especially the bathroom fan which Keith was happy to reset.. More importantly, Keith and his colleague were polite, friendly and professional. The timeclock fitted did not work too well in the location so this was upgraded at a later date - no fuss or bother, very polite and professional. Appointments and invoices by email - all excellent. Would highly recommend to women who are sick of MCP's.

W/c 5 Dec and 28 Dec. Keith McCloud is honest, trustworthy, value for money, understanding, reassuring, very methodical and clear about what he will be doing. He does work on time - no messing around. He is contactable and if he cant do a job that day will say so. I would recommend his company to anyone, especially Women as there are too many cowboys out there who try to rip women off. I wish he worked in North London too:). His workmanship is 100% quality standard.

The main trip switch in our fuse box flipped over the Boxing day evening affecting a significant portion of our house. For some reason it wouldn't flip back and stay on. So we had to try ringing around trying our luck for any electrician who may be 'on call'. Keith was very kind to give advice over the phone even when he is not working, diagnosing the problem remotely and very patiently went through a step by step guide with us to try and see if we can sort out the problem ourselves (which we did thankfully). Many thanks to Keith and his team!

The elements were originally replaced by Heat Light Power in August (roughly) but the top one went again in November as it was faulty. Heat Light Power therefore replaced both elements again free of charge. I would recommend and use again.

Perfect. Mr. McCloud came to check it really soon after we talked. He saw what the problem was immediately. He also told me my options and sent me an estimate. I was even advised to shop around in case I found something cheaper but as he did not charge me for checking it up, even though I had misunderstood -my English is not perfect- and had his money ready, I knew that I could trust him and did not need to do that. He had refused the money and explained why. He and his wife managed to fit me in their tight schedule so that I could have it replaced ASAP, as it was potentially dangerous. I had been told that if I could not do it with them, due to my busy schedule and their being also busy, I should get someone from the checkatrade to do it ASAP. But they managed. In two hours, the job was done and everything tested. All clean. I was shown the burnt out cable and panel. Everything was clearly explained. He and his wife work really well together and it was a very pleasurable experience, not stressing, as it had been with some other people. We had a lovely chat. Extremely polite and kind people. All was perfectly clear and accurate. Again, I had forgotten that all was included, even though it was clearly stated in the quotation. I was ready to pay when Keith told me that I had got it wrong and how the quotation included everything. Honest as honest can be people. The money was on the table. Anything I have to fix, electric wise from now on, they will do it.

Previous electrician had failed to fix the job despite installing a new dimmer switch. Turned out the problem was merely that the light bulb was slightly disconnected from the sensor. Fixed both lights in 30 seconds. Explained that it might be faulty again in future so I should consider changing the light fitting and that he would investigate an appropriate replacement. Then suggested that the job should be free because it was just a minor repair.

Very impressed all round, particularly re dust sheets being laid in the communal areas not just in my flat which I think was left cleaner than when they started! As the heating is not required yet I have not mastered how to use it but was assured that help would be given in the future if necessary. I got the impression that they take a great pride in what they do and really want you, as the customer, to be satisfied with the work.

We wanted to put in another socket in our tiny dining room. Keith came and had a look and advised us that we didn't need to have it done. The equipment plugged in didn't merit the cost of a new socket. He then tested a lamp and fitted a shower part. Can't fault him at all and would highly recommend him to everyone. Original specification had to be changed several times on request of buildings manager but HLP were happy to re-visit and re-quote each time. Particularly liked the fact that Keith seemed genuinely interested in our situation and came up with several possible solutions after a long initial first survey visit. Partly due to my requirement to complete the works as soon as possible the project had to be split into 3 phases over the Christmas and New Year spanning almost 3 weeks in total (8 days work in total). My one minor complaint was that the system was not programmed correctly and I was expected to set this up myself from the manual. However Keith was very happy to visit again for a couple of hours and agree my programming requirements, set the timers and explain to me how all the components worked. I would have liked to have been given a "users manual" as part of the hand-over as this is quite a complicated, functionally rich system. Generally workmanship was of a very high standard and they were clean and considerate at all times.

Keith (Heat Light and Power) was recommended to my two of my neighbours. I contacted him at lunchtime as our combination boiler was not working properly (providing some heat and getting the water warm but not hot). Over the phone, he patiently talked me through some basic checks I could make to check whether he might be able to solve the problem over the phone. Only when we had exhausted all possibilities did he say he couldn't tell what the problem might be without coming out. Even though he was fully booked, he squeezed us in and came out that same evening, thoroughly checked the system and discussed with me what adjustments we could make to get the system running more efficiently. The end result? Within 6 hours of me phoning, he had been and gone and I had heating and hot water again for a very reasonable fee, plus had been given the advice I needed to get the best out of the system effectively, thus avoiding the need to call him out again. I would highly recommend him!

Was bowled over when booking the service that I was actually offered a specific time slot, and then very much appreciated the confirmation email with both the time, name of the engineer, and quotation, as well as a further reminder email the night before.
