New Conservatory and Window Replacement
Hedge End Builders were recommended by a work colleague. From the first contact until the day of project completion Mike and his team were excellent. There were a number of occasions when aspects of the project were changed (at times whilst work was being carried out) - there was never any complaint from Mike or the team. All of the windows, the new front door and the conservatory are manufactured to an excellent standard and were made exactly as we requested. There were a couple of problems but Mike resolved these with a minimum of fuss and delay. Extra work was carried out as part of the original costs: a new loft hatch was fitted and the conservatory floor was tiles that we had purchased were laid for us. There were many occasions when we left the team at the premises alone and had them lock up behind them. The team were always at our premises and ready by the time we had to leave for work and school runs etc. So we were always able to discuss the project on a daily basis; and Mike always answered his mobile phone if you called. The team cleared up behind them at the end of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mike and his team to anybody considering having any building work done; and we fully expect that at some time in the future we may have to call on their services again. Demolish old conservatory and incorporate new replacement into previous utility area, to dramatically improve living area.
From a few initial surprises about bodged work by previous owners of the house that were discovered by Mike and the team, we were a bit apprehensive about what the end result and indeed the cost would be. We shouldn't have worried! Mike diligently kept us fully informed about progress all the way, seeking our permission and presenting choices as need arose to manage the work through to the final finish. Even the cat coped with the upset to routine!! Very professionally dealt with guys! We will have no hesitation in calling upon you to help with future projects or recommend you to anyone who asks.
