Boiler pump replaced and restored heating and hot water

I called Hillyar and Hillyar following a failed repair of the boiler by another company, they came out the same day and completed a temporary repair, identified the source of the fault and when proceeding with the recommended repair they were able to attend rapidly. A very professional, informative and friendly service provided. They install confidence and come across as knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what they were doing and why. The prices are incredibly reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

Fitting of complete oil based central heating system and solar panels

We had taken over a new house with no heating system at all. We had researched options carefully with a number of different companies. Chris and Claire impressed us from the outset with the clarity of their suggestions for what we could do. When they came to do the installation they were efficient and no nonsense - nothing was too much trouble and nothing seemed to be a problem that could not be easily fixed. A job on this scale was inevitably disruptive but they kept the mess to a minimum and were a pleasure to have around. The job was completed to time and the system is working brilliantly. All this in addition to the fact that their price was extremely competitive. We have other work to do and we will definitely use them again. Highest possible recommendation.

Fixed leaking boiler and restored hot water - adjusted pressure

Chris is a really nice bloke. He was quick, efficient, punctual and charged a very reasonable price. Very tidy and kept us fully informed on what we should do to prevent the problem should it arise again, and if it did so to call him. 11/10! Would recommend to anyone, anywhere.

Bath mixer taps replaced and electric shower removed

Chris and Claire did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone. They went above and beyond what I expected for a very good price. I would use them again any time.

Removed old boiler from downstairs and installed new boiler upstairs

I can't recommend Chris and Claire highly enough. Impeccable work, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Punctual, tidy, and went way beyond their call of duty. Fortunately, Chris even spotted a fault with our sewage outlet and repaired it instantly at no extra cost to his original quote. Only 1 plumber I will now use for future work ! Give them a call - you wont be disappointed !

Tap washer replaced and workings of tap greased

Despite this job being small, I was pleased to find that I was given excellent service and Chris was very knowledgeable and charged less than I expected as the job didn't require the replacements parts that I thought it might. I would definately use this company again and would recommend them to everyone.

New Combi Boiler installed

Had a new combi boiler installed. Chris and Clair did an excellent job. Kept me informed the whole time and nothing was too much trouble, especially as I had a lot of questions. Cleaned up afterwards and took away the old boiler. Power flushed my radiators to ensure they would operate efficiently. They were both very polite and worked hard to get the job done on time. Great job done. Highly recommended.
