Very happy with the work. Had an emergency, as system had locked due virus and son needed it urgently for GCSE revision. Mr Dixon turned up quickly, at the weekend, assessed the problem, which was terminal, hooked up a temporary system on loan, and then ordered and installed a new computer within days. He does not use computer speak, and did not have that horrible habit of lecturing in gobbledegook the intricacies of IT. He just got on with the job. He was tidy, articulate and polite. Excellent!!!

Having described to David what I needed, he came back to me with two possible solutions, fully costed, with pros and cons of each clearly outlined. Once I'd decided, he sourced the netbook, installed what was needed, delivered it, and gave me a tutorial on how to use it, including showing me how to synchronise it with my existing laptop. I felt instantly "ready to go". David is so calm and explains things so clearly - it's such a relief to be able to rely on him.

I phoned David because I had a problem with my D drive, he made several attempts to rectify the problem and spent more than an hour online and on the phone but unfortunately to no avail. Not his fault so wasn't charged as the problem couldn't be solved.

Having had a virus on my hard drive which completely wiped my system, I was given immediate help by this company to help capture documents from my existing drive and a new hard drive (faster and more efficient in every way) was supplied at a very reasonable price within days. When I decided I needed an additional monitor to use with my laptop at home, I asked David, who I use whenever I have a technical issue. Home IT Solutions have always been reliable fast professional and really friendly and helpful. They found me a really lovely monitor, and because it was refurbished (not that you could tell) rather than brand new, it was amazing value for money. I've been really impressed with the quality of the monitor, plus David set it up for me and showed me how to use it in combination with my laptop screen. David was very thorough with the work he did. Between both of us, we narrowed the problem down to being an un-installation of Norton AV 2010 that had some how gone wrong. We un-installed Norton completely, and the network issue was resolved. The job took about 45minutes in total, but we eliminated a lot of issues that could have made the job a lot longer before hand. Would definitely recommend David's expertise for any IT problems that require solution.

After telling David the type of work I do on a PC, he researched and recommended the make, model etc for me. He then provided phone support to help me install the new computer and once remote access was set up, he transferred all my files from the old PC to the new one as well as setting it up so I could sync my PC and laptop.
