I had a replacement uPVC front door fitted by Homecare after previously having a large front bay window fitted by them, so it's the second bit of work they've done on our home. The quality of the work is outstanding, the communication is excellent and this company is always very courteous and pleasant to deal with. In addition, I feel they offer very competitive quotes. They arrive on time, complete the work quickly and efficiently and leave very little mess. Overall, i' d highly recommend this company and would use them again.

We have used Homecare for several projects over the last 3 years, including two window replacements, installation of French doors and the installation of a porch. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite and the quality of the work is very, very good. Two chaps started work at 8.15 this morning and worked solidly for 6 hours. My new back door and casement window look great and I would definitely continue to recommend the company. I've dealt with several installers - all great; and the office based staff are very personable too. All in all, great to do business with.

Impressed with initial consultation (survey), the advice given and work done. Impressed with Surveyor. Workman turned up on the date scheduled, was neat and tidy, you would never know there had been work done inside the house - had passifyer vents install which required knocking out some brickwork from inside the house. The rooms were left clean. I would definitely recommend the Homecare Improvements Ltd and I would definitely use them again.

Homecare replaced all our windows plus a set of patio doors.  The two men who did the work were very courteous and took extra care to keep things tidy, despite having to work in tight spaces in our small flat! The work was completed ahead of schedule and we are very pleased with the results.

Text of Letter: "..(survey undertaken by company during house purchase) but at this point I feel the service provided by (the company) fell short of the standards I would expect. Despite being promised the report with in 24 hours it took a week and a half and numerous phone calls before the report arrived. Nevertheless we asked the company to undertake the damp proofing work recommended. On the first day..my wife had to leave the house whilst the workmen were there and she asked them to lock the house before she got back........On returning home ...(she) discovered the workmen had left but the back door was wide open and a hose was running on the lawn. She phoned the company.........and received a fulsome apology. (When) the job was allegedly completed, the workmen left but when my wife inspected the work ..........it was clear that the.....work along the back of the house had only been partially completed. Again she had to phone them to come back and finish the job properly. The works manager was always most apologetic and helpful when we spoke to him but in the light of our experience I would not recommend his company to anyone else. I have asked Eagle Preservation to send me the Checkatrade Customer monitoring Card and they have not done so. I cannot help feeling this is an abuse of your valuable service if suppliers only send cards to customers who they suspect will give them positive feedback."

"We were dismayed to receive your correspondence regarding the complaint about our company from (this customer). We were unaware of the extent of his displeasure until we heard from you. The bill had been paid promptly and we were under the impression that the work had been completed to his satisfaction. On receipt of your correspondence, we attempted to arrange a meeting with him and our director to find out how best we could put matters right for him. We were told he would ring to arrange a date for such a discussion, but he did not do so. When our report was prepared for him we had run out of monitoring Checkatrade Monitoring Cards and so were unable to send one to him. We were disappointed that we were not given the chance to talk with (the customer) and that he did not allow us the opportunity to review the situation with him. We would assure you that we endeavour to provide the very best services we can to all our customers."
