My name is David Houghton, and I am the proud owner of Houghton electrical. I established the company around 3 years ago, and have been steady growing the company ever since, mostly from recommendations from friends and families of my customers. We cover all installations: domestic and commercial, and industrial, and have a wide range of solutions for most premises. We take pride in our work and strive to achieve the highest possible standard at all times. Due to always being prompt and reliable our reputation continues to grow. If we say we’re going to be there you can depend on the fact we will, or if a problem arises we’ll call and inform you, and set a new time, or date.
So far we have carried out a large range of work that has allows us to gain a huge amount of experience and knowledge to carry out all aspects of electrical work. We have a number of kitchen fitters who we have been completing their work since the company started. We work very closely with them to ensure that the customer gets exactly what they want. We’ve also worked with specialist lighting companies creating the exact ambiance and feel of each room that the customer requires. I’ve been lucky to have used some of the newest technology on the market, and have had a chance to work on some amazing building’s creating the lighting that just finishes off the building.
We’ve rewired pretty much every type of building from relatively new, to original oak buildings to cow sheds, and summer homes. In doing this we have gained a wealth of knowledge which allows us to come up with the best solutions for a number of situations.
Recently we have under gone some new training in the Green energy field, we are now able to install solar PV panels which can give you free energy for the life of the panels, and are currently going through our MCS accreditation which give you the customer method making money simply by generating the electricity. We can also install a new voltage optimization box called v-phase, which can save at least 10% a year on your electricity bills. It does this by stabilizing your voltage and providing you with a constant 220V. This will not only save your money, but also puts less strain on the appliances so everything in the house or building benefits from longer life.
We have a few members of staff, all of which have been trained to a high standard to ensure safety and durability of all of our installations. We treat all jobs the same, and always leave the jobs as we found them, whether that means moving all of the furniture, or cleaning up the mess we’ve made. We are polite and courteous at all times, and always get on with other guys on site.
