Having struggled for over 10 years to find a solution to the various leaks in my large sloping conservatory roof and paid out a lot of wasted money in the process. I got three quotes from companies not used before. It was immediately evident from the first email response from Andy that this company was a breath of fresh air. Jim and Scott arrived on schedule and immediately recognised the problems and offered comprehensive solutions. The work was carried out as per estimate and time, the quality of replacement glass and workmanship was outstanding and the final result a good-as-new conservatory even after 20 years. Great guys, quality company. Would definitely recommend them.

My whole experience with Andy was professional and informative. Andy originally gave us advice about a year ago and that prompted us to use Howard Caine when we were ready to change the roof. From the quoting and surveying process, through to completion, Andy and his team were courteous, professional, tidy! And friendly. Andy gave us clear advice and details about different options and costs, that enabled us to make an informed decision. The end results are very pleasing, both in terms of choosing glass over updated poly. The light, temperature and noise levels are much improved and we are now able to use the conservatory again without freezing. All worth the money spent.

During the four days of the project, they both worked exceptionally hard and meticulously and any problem/remedial work encountered during the project was dealt with at the time. Having delayed having my windows changed for a couple of years and having had a couple of other quotes I decided to go with Howard Caine Conservatories Ltd due to the highly professional but personnel approach. Jim and Scott have just installed 15 sealed units to my windows and 2 very large units to my patio doors. The whole job was completed on time and delivered and installed without any real disruption. The units are top quality and the finish is excellent. I would like to say a big thank you to Jim and Scott. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would. They treated my house (and my cats) with respect and made the experience a joy. Unfortunately that is not always the case when having builders in your house. I would therefore not only recommend Howard Caine but also Checkatrade. Finally I would also like to say thank you to Andy who was very efficient and prompt in sending me emails with quotations and generally keeping me informed of progress. Thank you.

Excellent standard of workmanship clearly reliable and knew what they were dong. Took pride in their work and were not prepared to cut any corners. The original design of our conservatory was made by another company and was clearly sub standard. Andy was prepared to take on the job of trying to make good and they did an excellent job from a difficult starting point. No drips since and lots of rain!

I requested several quotes for this work from various companies but it was clear from dealing with Andy at Howard Caine Conservatories Ltd that this was a very professional company priding itself on doing a good job. We were not disappointed the work done is to an excellent standard, exactly as ordered, after exchanging ideas and getting clear advice, professionally managed and all done within the dates agreed. Jim and his son Scott carried out the work over two days as quoted. Jim was very meticulous, gave his complete care and attention to a particularly complicated box gutter replace and repair. Which another Company I had asked to quote did not seem confident it could be done. Jim produced a very neat and thought through piece of work, discussing it with me and showing me progress all through. Not only was this an excellent job but he also solved the stiff and squeaky doors that shut quietly and easily now while he was there. Very pleased and would definately use them again. I found Howard Caine Conservatories through Checkatrade and chose them after reading the recommendations of customers. My conclusion after they did what was a tricky conservatory roof repair is that Andy, Leon and Chris “do what it says on the tin”! Excellent quality work done by careful and caring tradesmen. All three men took care to ensure that the work was carried out with the minimum of disruption and that our floors and furniture were protected with dust sheets. They answered all our questions patiently and tidied all the mess efficiently and without prompting. Any problems that cropped up during the work were simply solved, with no fuss or bother. They even put up a new curtain rail to replace the one that had to be taken down as it was fixed to one of the old windows. I cannot recommend them too highly.

Delivery time was communicated well in advance with no subsequent issues. Quality of product and installation was excellent as well as the attitude and consideration shown by the installation team. Apart from the fact that new windows had been fitted you would never have known that the work had been completed as all mess was cleaned and the house left in a very satisfactory condition.

Due to a recent break in we needed the glass to our back door replaced. It was fairly urgent as the boarding up, although safe, was unsightly, dark and a constant reminder of our trauma. The team arrived on the prescribed day and methodically disassembled the old conservatory which took virtually two days-after each day the area was cleaned and made weatherproof with plastic sheeting etc. The new frame and glazing was installed with great care and calmly with no sense of rush After each night the site was swept clean all tools were stowed away. Initially we just wanted the conservatory exterior cleaned but on coming to give us a quote, Andy noticed that the guttering to the rear of the house was insufficient for the size of property and in poor condition. We were having 'waterfalls' every time it rained heavily. He quoted for both jobs and undertook the work when promised. We are delighted with the conservatory cleaning which now looks as good as new. Andy recommended a hedgehog system (looks like a bristle brush) to fit in to the new guttering to keep debris out and thus ease future maintenance. Given the difficulty in accessing our rear guttering this was a good suggestion. We were impressed with the way the team coped with a very difficult access to our roof in not great weather. They tidied up after themselves and happily moved a large quantity of pots (which I had meant to move myself) in order to put in the new waterbutt. Very pleasant to deal with we would happily recommend them to anyone considering conservatory or guttering work.

We did a lot of research before picking Howard Caine to do the work and had a number of quotes from both big brand companies and smaller local businesses. Not only were Howard Caine very competitively priced they also paid the most attention to detail. The work has been carried out to an extremely high standard and we are delighted with the end product. Andy, Leon and Chris completed the installation within a week and were polite and professional at all times. Base, brickwork and drainage was done by Richard, one of Andy's contracted builders. Richard clearly has the same work ethic and attention to detail as Andy at Howard Caine and we have no hesitation in recommending them both.

Having put off having our windows changed for some time and having had a few quotes we decided to go with Howard Caine due to the highly professional but personnel approach Andy and his team have and the good reputation he has built up. They have just installed 2 new Bay windows, 3 side windows and a new composite front door. The whole job was completed on time and delivered and installed without any real disruption. The windows installed are top quality and the finish was excellent. I would recommend Howard Caine to anyone wanting a quality installation at a fair price. 1st class !

My wife noticed that one of the roof panels in our conservatory was a slightly different colour to the other panels. She mentioned it to Andy who phoned his supplier straight away to order a replacement. Andy explained that as soon as the new panel came in he would let us know to arrange a date for replacing it which he did. Any and Leon turned up at the time they said they would and replaced the panel with the minimum of fuss and disruption. They offer a very professional service and I would highly recommend them.

Both came today and replaced my front and rear door locks!! Once again was a quick call and they were here! Andy was very helpful before we ordered the conservatory and talked us through the process. He also arranged a visit to see a conservatory locally which they had fitted which was very helpful. The construction of the walls and foundation was subcontracted to Richard a local bricklayer who has a lot of experience and achieved a high standard with a couple of small exceptions relating to the position of the drainpipes. Once the walls were completed measurements were taken and the conservatory was ordered. Just over a week later it was fitted to a very high standard and my wife and I were pleased with the outcome. The team were very helpful and the work was completed quickly even though the weather wasn't very good. After everything dried out, which took a few days the plasterer came and finished the walls and finally the electrician John who Richard organised connected up the sockets and lights. All in all we were happy with the outcome and we are about to start using the conservatory. The team were polite and helpful and the standard of workmanship was very good. I am happy to recommend Howard Caine Conservatories.

We asked for advice about either repairing our old, leaky conservatory or replacing it with new one. Andy and Leon were very helpful and explained the alternatives, giving us quotes for the various options. They arranged a visit for us to see a similar conservatory to the one we were considering. They responded to my emails promptly and the whole operation went very smoothly. All concerned turned up on time, worked diligently and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. We are delighted with our new conservatory and wouldn't hesitate to use Howard Caine Conservatories again.
