My name is Ian Mottram I am a professional, friendly and reliable tradesman. I take great pride in my work and like to work on projects in all areas of the building industry.

Carpentry.
Fitted and painted a new front door. Came back to undercoat and paint door in a timely manner, was polite and friendly. Cleaned up after himself. Accomodated out requests. I would be happy to recommend them.

Renovation of Investment Property and Main House

Ian started work on our investment semi in Haywards Heath in June 2011 which was a total renovation. He is both honest (very rare in the building trade!) and an extremely good builder. We have had him back to do many jobs on our main home and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to the most discerning of customers.

We are delighted with the quality of all the work carried out by IDM Joinery. We have been seeking to improve the safety and appearance of our 1960s open tread staircase for some years. Ian Mottram was the first trades person able to propose a cost-effective, creative bespoke solution. All works were carried out to an exceptionally high standard. Ian outlined a range of options to us as work proceeded, communicating the pros and cons very clearly. We are very happy to recommend the company.

Changes to kitchen cabinetry plus repair and re-glazing of extension

Good advice on best ways to tackle work and very high quality result both on the actual joinery and paint finishes. Very hard workers which resulted in rapid progress (when weather allowed on external work). Would use again.

Fitting of 2 double glazed windows and internal architrave to play room

IDM joinery were polite, reliable and very accommodating of myself, the 4 children and dog all present when the work was being carried out. The work has been finished to a very high standard, and I will definitely be using them , very highly recommended!
