Wayne and his partner were always very courteous and helpful. They came up with suggestions when needed and used their professional expertise when required. They tidied away after finishing work and disposed of their rubbish. Their work was of a high quality.

A high standard of work, with intelligent, creative and willing solutions to any problems encountered. There were a couple of minor, unforeseen extras that had to be added to the overall cost, but these could not possibly have been anticipated and I was kept well informed when this occurred. Otherwise, everything was completely as per estimate regardless of how long things actually took. They are really easy to have around, and I was always very happy to leave them to it and give them the keys as necessary. Hard workers when they're here (and, generally, it was only one of them here at a time), but my only gripe was that they seldom did a full day here or worked here every day, which meant the time scale from start to finish was longer than if they'd worked here consistently. But I probably hoped for more than it was reasonable for me to hope for (in terms of the time scale), and the end result has most definitely been worth waiting for.

These guys are a real gem of a company. They were recommended to us and we're so glad that we chose them to work on our project. It was quite a large job to undertake with two small children in the house but they couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring that they caused as little disruption as possible. Brilliant communication, great ideas, good project management with 3rd party contractors, top quality workmanship and genuinely enjoyable to have around the house. Really very good at understanding our design vision. They also worked very closely to ensure the project remained within budget and took a lot of pride in the end result too. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

These guys provide a great service. They kept us involved all through the major works and co-ordinated all aspects, from scaffolding, painting, roof repairs and even drainage. All costs were discussed in advance if there was any change from the original estimate, so we felt fully confident that they would discuss it with us first and also offer a range of options. They and all the guys who did the work were really friendly and professional and worked to a really high standard. In addition to the major works they have also fitted my kitchen, resurrecting it from a previous near disaster by a different workman and a bathroom, both of which I'm really pleased with. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them, and in fact have already recommended to a number of my friends.

We would definitely recommend this company. We had a fixed budget and clear idea of what we wanted to achieve with our project. To deliver it, we needed a team of skilled tradesman, who would be focused on quality, very flexible, completely reliable, always transparent about costs, and who could add value with solutions that wouldn't compromise our vision when problems arose (which they invariably will when renovating an old house). The team are all of this and more. They knocked out walls and fitted steels; re-plastered; installed new wiring and plumbing; laid new flooring; fitted new windows; fitted a new kitchen and a new bathroom. For us, it was a big deal and a huge project, but they dealt with everything with care and skill, and an assuredness that gave us enormous confidence throughout. Their price was in the middle of the three quotes we had but they go the extra mile to make sure customers get great value. They were a pleasure to have around and made sure the project was finished to their self imposed high standards. We always said we would be demanding customers but they never failed to exceed our expectations. If the quality of your project is important to you, use this company.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company. The quality of workmanship has been really high throughout. They were always open and up-front about how long things would take and how much they would cost, and they kept us informed of any changes or issues all the way along. All the people who worked on the house, were always friendly, polite, considerate and tidy. They actually made a potentially stressful house renovation good fun. The house looks great and the project was completed on time and in budget.

Really pleased with the work done - quality of workmanship was spot on. We were always consulted throughout regarding any details, queries or suggestions. They worked hard (no slacking) and kept us fully informed of progress. All aspects internally and externally finished and snagged to a good standard. They always tidied and cleaned up at the end of each day, They were considerate, polite and amiable and to be honest a pleasure to have in the house. I would recommend them to anyone having work done. Their quote was mid range of the five obtained initially (all checkatrade)but there wasn't a great deal between them anyway. Worth paying a little bit more for quality.

I have used this company in the past, so I was confident they would do an excellent job and I was not disappointed. They managed to fit this job in at short notice as it was an emergency and gave a really great service. Not only did they replace the floor to a high standard, they took the time to diagnose the source of the problem and fixed it so that it would not re-occur. They are exceptionally skilled craftsmen and exceptionally skilled businessmen. This was a complex project, involving a number of structural alterations, the complete renovation of the kitchen and a new patio garden. Throughout every stage of the planning and the conduct of the work, The team were a joy to work with. The standard of workmanship was very high. They were attentive and responsive to our preferences and our wishes. Their time management can sometimes be compromised by over-ambitiousness, but this is due as much to their own perfectionism as it is to anything else. Very highly recommended.

This company did a fantastic job of installing our new kitchen including taking time and effort to make our wooden work top look beautiful. We could probably have had the work done for less but they were excellent in terms of listening to what we wanted, workmanship, being pleasant to have in the house and tidying up at the end of each day so I'm glad we used them. I would recommend them and would certainly use them again in the future.
