The company is operated by Andy Dunn MIET who has over forty years’ experience in electrical and related industries. Andy’s philosophy is “if a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well”. Also, Andy will never knowingly do work that does not meet this standard.
As an Electrical Inspector and a member of the IET, Andy is also a qualified lecturer who is teaches the Electrical Wiring Regulations as well as instructs and assesses students to obtain the City and Guilds 2391-10 qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing.
As a sole trader, INSPECTRIX is accredited to the NICEIC as an Approved Contractor, and therefore each job is certified to prove that it complied with BS7671:2008. Any work undertaken of which is a requirement of Building Regulations Approved Document "P" will automatically be notified to Building Control.
INSPECTRIX will undertake Electrical Installation Condition Reports (previously known as Periodic Inspection and Condition Reports) for any work associated requested by landlords, property owners, lenders, mortgage companies and insurance companies - especially for dwellings that have thatched roofs.
