Most contractors know the importance of liability insurance but as the majority of their work is away from their own premises, insurance for their own premises can often seem less important or overlooked completely. Many insurers do provide property covers but tend to present them as one package including premises liability. This overlap in cover means you pay more premium than you need to.

To prevent this overlapping of cover Holbrook’s have teamed up with Norwich Union Insurance and put together a comprehensive Property cover tailor made with small to medium contractors in mind. As contractors you will have already satisfied your liability insurance requirements and all that remains is to make sure your business premises is adequately protected.

Our policy includes:

• Material Damage All Risks - extra covers include mobile phones, money, stamps, personal effects, documents, business books, computer records etc.
• Theft - stock, plant and machinery, fixtures and fittings, tenants improvements, damage to buildings, personal effects, glass breakage, replacement of doors, wines or cigars for entertainment etc.
• Glass - Alarm foil, lettering, any ornamental work, damage to goods displayed, removal of fixtures and fittings, damage to framework etc.
• Money - includes safes, strong room, franking machines, containers or waistcoats used for carrying money, in directors and employees homes etc.

Optional covers include: Book Debts, Stock in Transit and Business Interruption.
