At J H Somerville Plastering Services the aim is to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied with the finished product. There is never no job too big or too small for Justin to undertake and all quotes will be sent out within 7 days of looking at the job. 

Justin has been in the plastering industry for over 10 Years now and covers all aspects of plastering from coving, rendering, pebble dashing, floor screeds, artexing, replacing old ceilings with new ones, making artex ceilings into smooth flat ones, reskimming rooms, using a wide range of backing coats to walls (e.g, bonding, hardwall, sand and cement, plasterboarding).  As well as plastering Justin is also a decorator and spent 3 years at Reading College studying all aspects of decorating. Tiling work is also undertaken as well as recommending a very good and reliable electrician to undertake jobs where ceilings are to be skimmed with downlighters fitted etc.

As you can see by the reports Justin is very proffesional, extremely tidy and very courteous towards customers and the main aim is for 100% Customer Satisfaction which he strives to achieve.

Plastering new extension

Re plastering a bedroom

Justin provided an estimate, but when he started to remove the plaster - the whole room needed extensive repair. Justin advised of the new quote before he began the job. The room now looks great, and Justin worked on Sat and Sunday to complete. He is extremely polite, ensured carpets etc were protected and left the house clean. Justin also took away all rubble with no hassle.

Plastering of bedroom

I cannot speak highly enough of Justin and the work he carried out for us. He was punctual, professional and very easy to talk to. His workmanship was of a very high standard. I would recommend him to family and friends. We will also require his services in the future for further work. A small note to end, he enjoys his cups of coffee and occasional "breakaway" biscuit.

Skimming of Kitchen Walls + Tiling

Justin is a nice guy, courteous and prompt. Very professional. Justin gets on with it - he doesnt stop much. His plastering is super. "Smooth as a baby's bum" was the comment from my partner. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. Painting on it has been fine. Tiling done by a colleague and looks very well indeed. His colleague just got on with the work too. My kitchen looks so much better. Both guys were lovely.

Plastered bedroom and rebuilt inner wall

Justin came and quoted for the work giving us two options to fix a wall which required more substantial repair and plastering of the rest of the room. At all times, Justin was reliable, polite, tidy and very clean. He checked regularly to see if we were satisfied with the work. We have already booked him for the next room and have recommended him to a friend.

Excellent work. The fact that we got Justin back in again after he did some work in the summer says it all. He's very quick, very tidy and does a first class job. Highly recommended!

Skimmed Hall, Landing and Stairs. Made good chimney breast after fireplace removal.

Justin is polite, punctual, easy to get on with and is a very tidy worker who has done a first class job giving our tired old walls a new lease of life and we did not hesitate to contact him again after we removed the old fireplace and needed the chimney breast making good, the new hole in the wall fire now has a lovely smooth background to sit against.
